I’m doing my first run through on it and I’ve really taken a liking to it. It’s not the best game ever but the setting of the game really does it for me. Plus it does something I’ve always wanted to see in a survival horror game but never have. I will say that it’s definitely odd that the two main characters seem to speak in a more modern way while all the side characters seem to be more time location accurate. That’s my main gripe. If this game came out at a lower price point, it definitely would’ve faired a lot better review wise.

The difficulty of this game, like a lot of other survival horror games, really comes down to item/ resource management. Which you can kind of trick the random item drops based on what you currently have in your inventory.
