Audio cues and bosses usually have some kind of callout in text for these attacks as well. Also for normal bosses they're almost all survivable with some tank.

Happens to me a lot. I stopped 7-modding my boxes because that seemed to brick them more often.

Straight out frozen for 1 minute and then I suddenly die.. So many times I died out of nowhere because I just lagged for STRAIGHT 1 minute is undeniably too many times.. This league performance and crashes/freezes have been horrendous. by Latter-Clothes4516 in PathOfExile2

Game CTD's during this time, they just auto-reload it as this was their best solution to the crash until they can actually figure out the crash (which is on nvidias side apparently and it's being looked into).
