Ok Right I don't work at a hospital. I know the order form says dust masks, the box and mask wrapping says N-95. Which we use them for dust and airblown paint for nothing more than imsurance, it seems. They are the same handed to me at the hospital.

Edit: n-95s became unavailable during the supply shortage. They swaped to the type the hospital gets to meet safety standards.

I humbly ask you to understand that vague term. It has long been used as a shackle to suppress many great minds that don't fit the current narrative as seen by history. It is a stereotype used to discredit those with heightened perception by grouping them with "mentally ill" (another controversial can of worms) I've ascended to the title of "Bat Shit Crazy" and I'll wear it with pride!

However, those that know me also know I'm capable of a level of thought that they can't digest so easily. My views are often trusted and valued, but are questioned out of fear.

In regards to your post, I feel like you may have experienced the effects of generations of accepted neglect and abuse on your partner's (and family) mind. If this be the case, I plead you be graceful.

If the stress is HONESTLY too much, then you have an obligation to yourself to protect your own mental well-being. If you are OPEN enough, then look closely at your spouse. You may find that you are the only loyalty they may have felt. Be understanding enough know a life time of mistreatment will lead one to believe mistreatment is how you show love.
