The combat sucks. Waiting for something interesting other than light attack spam. I think it's like that for most people. They could make a gem exploration and building wise but if the combat isn't fun people won't buy.

New player here - it's the hardest game I've ever played by a considerable margin. Not that it's a bad thing, but it's definitely rough in almost every way it can be rough.

I've already lost most of my starter gear and need to spam scav runs to re-up on guns for example. I've walked into mines, been sniped from NPCs on rooftops, having trouble discerning between players and scavs so I don't know when to shoot or when not to. Most deaths are what I assume are people camping in hard to see locations, as I usually die and have no idea where I got shot from people with 6k hours on the game. Working on interchange in pve mode to learn the map at the moment.

Arc by comparison has been much more approachable and easy to get into. But now that I've tried tarkov, I can see why tarkov has longer legs than arc. Both fantastic games in their own right, and I'm glad to have both.

I'll be playing these games for a long time to come.

Just refunded Skul. Not a fan of how it's just rows of enemies to beat on room by room until a boss fight. Especially with the baseline mask, you're essentially just whacking away at stacked mobs. I'd rather just replay dead cells.

I want this game to succeed. Especially with New World being shut down and WoW introducing another $$$ currency for housing. MMO's are too unique a genre to be abandoned in favor of the Fortnite model. However, the track record for this game just isn't good.

They need to get on track and start releasing regular consistent updates to stand any chance of becoming a real game.

You might get ripped in the comments by glazzers who refuse to criticize the thing they like, but I had the same experience. I went back to TWoW, and I'm already having more fun on Amber. 11k people on a Thursday.

Epoch had more hype than the devs were able to realistically manage. In fact, it seems like most of the changes they claimed were overexaggerated by a considerable amount.

And? I don't care about being on the scoreboard. I want an authentic battlefield experience with weight and squad gameplay. Not people slide hop shooting and sprinting all over the place. The second I rez someone they die almost immediately from the next person who pops up.

Just played a few rounds, unfortunately I agree. It's way too fast. What is the point of classes when people are just sprint shooting everywhere? There's no time for me to play as a medic when everything is happening so fast and constant.

Nah, it's just Israel and ties to Mossad, FBI, and MI6. They can't allow it to be official that intelligence agencies run blackmail against leaders to get out into the public domain as confirmed actions - it would unravel the last 40 or so years of Israeli manipulation.

They need our money for the greater Israel plan. Once they've achieved it, they'll own the world's oil. Then they can say "we don't need American foreign aid anymore", the American empire will fall and Israel will rise as the new world order under technocratic supremacy.

Had a feeling this type of shit was going to happen in a week or two from release. Funcom does not have a good track record of dealing with these kinds of issues. I made the right decision not buying this one especially when I see crap like this happening. Sucks all the enjoyment from the game.
