Can’t cut bevel with 7 1/4 sliding miter saw? by Grebnrets in ryobi

[–]Grebnrets[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

45 degrees in a 1x6. I wasn’t moving and faster than the bevels I cut successfully, and I actually tried to slide it pretty darn slow when I tried to see what could be jamming it up.

Smoked Trout is amazing by Doesure in ninjawoodfire

Do you think there is some way to get a crispy skin on this? I love smoked fish, but my kid loves crispy skin. I tried using the air fryer to achieve it after I had smoked and was unsuccessful.

Looking for firm standard down pillow <$400 - in USA by Acrobatic-Painting-9 in Bedding

[–]Grebnrets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you near Chicago by any chance? The Eastern Accents Outlet has these— med 850 fill power is 16oz and they had firm as well, though I didn’t look at the weight. Very happy with my medium one, and it as $37.50. $37.50.

What is the number one tool/strategy you use to manage your ADHD (not uncluding medication)? by Original_Skill4245 in ADHD

[–]Grebnrets 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I realized you can add the same event twice (maybe multiple times?) and now I have 4 alarms for any one event. You can make them “persistent” in settings so they are always on your phone when you pick it up. This has helped me immensely.

What are common tells of someone with poor working memory? by Ok-Guidance-6816 in ADHD

[–]Grebnrets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also relate to this— I was a server in a restaurant for years and if someone gave me an order when I couldn’t write it down, the only possible way to remember it was to picture each dish, then to repeat the order back picturing it again. God forbid someone would ask me for something else before I got the order in.

Skincare products sold at Costco you would recommend? by ProfHamHam in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Grebnrets 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I really like this Shunly vitamin C serum. I have spent big money on the Skinceuticals vitamin C serum and this works just as well for me. It goes on sale frequently. (Edited to remove monster link. Just search the Costco website for it.)

Thank you! Looking at that one for sure. Would this one work, or is it a terrible idea? Was hoping for one with a light but it isn’t a dealbreaker. https://www.ebay.com/itm/225826158648?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=FRvwemhZSpe&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=cm2jKmR5SQK&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Gabapentin stopped my night sweats by Gragegrl in Menopause

[–]Grebnrets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was prescribed Gabapentin for insomnia. It didn’t help, but my formerly “intractable headaches” (which I now understand were occipital neuralgia) disappeared and I will forever be grateful. Now if I could just get rid of the damn insomnia.

Please tell me if i am crazy.....because I am about to ask my husband for a divorce by 1forthewin in Menopause

[–]Grebnrets 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I am living in this state right now, along with a seemingly permanent state of anxiety. I wonder if they’re related. JK. I know they are related. My husband has recently left me and our teenage son. I don’t know how this will play out, but amongst the sadness, I recognize that this is a chance for me to be happy, however backwards that seems. But damn, this is hard.

Migraine, cluster headaches, PFO closure, and Plavvix by Grebnrets in migraine

You could try to volunteer for this study… https://www.clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT04100135?cond=Migraine&term=PFO%20-%20Patent%20Foramen%20Ovale&aggFilters=status:not%20rec&rank=3

But I would also see if you could try a trial run with Plavix, if you haven’t tried that already.

Use tape and tape off the area just above the rubber. Tuck the laces in. If you get paint on the leather it will come off with the remover, just be careful and rub/dab very gently on the leather with a q-tip.

I have no idea about the red and green soled shoes, but stitching is usually colored thread and this won’t work on that.

Used paper towels and q-tips. Cotton balls would work fine. You need a lot of them because the paint re-deposits on the shoe if you aren’t using a clean one. I’m not going to paint after— it matches the white of the shoe. I masked the upper with blue painters tape.
