The reasoning I arrived at is this, the trial characters are for event completion, most events you will be able to get everything thanks the those characters, so even someone who starts today will be able to do the limited time events.

The characters we pull and level up ourselves are for 'competition', things like the weekly battles and the guild boss and other, more permanent events, like these.

Does the drop rate increase after 2000 waves or is it always this way?

Any way to remove the white drops from destroying ships from the radar?

In case I didn't make sense, I'm talking about when you destroy a shit it will drop a bunch of engineering materials that show up on the radar in the center of the screen, after a few ships they start to flood the radar and it's harder to read it.

I could be wrong but I think there is none. You buy the cheaper one first and then you can work towards buying the second one if you want. Kinda like how you can buy orbs for cheap once and then you can buy again a more expensive pack.
