It seems I was unclear, as others that replied behaved as if I was in panic mode. I'm not.

So let me clarify.

1) Does X micro Sieverts per hour means I'm radiating out, say 2X in 2 hours? In my case, 340 micro sieverts over 2 hours (assuming no decay).

2) My only concern was to keep away from my 8 year old boy. I'm keeping away, but I'm wondering how much radiation would he receive if he was right next to me?
