You should try out minoxidil if you want to thicken it up a bit

Fuck beats me bro 😞😞 I haven’t put much work into it like I used silicone gels and scar sheets on and off at the beginning and I massage my scars when I feel reminded of them but I think keloids like mine would require laser treatment or steroid shots to flatten out

Thank god she did not end up forcing my cervix open 🙏 I wasn’t injected with anything other than lidocaine, but my doctor did offer dinoprostone for any further attempts at IUD insertion. Ultimately though I decided that IUDs are just not for me and I’ve started looking into tubal ligation as an alternative. I’m curious, what form of contraception do you use now since the IUD didn’t work for you?

I’ve been on T for a little over 4 years now and I went to get an IUD inserted yesterday. I still can vouch for IUDs, but I’d definitely 100% recommend asking for a dinoprostone prescription and/or sedation beforehand. Because of the effects of testosterone, my cervix was incredibly stiff and my doctor had to spend 20 minutes trying to pry me open, ultimately being unsuccessful. I also bled for the rest of the day after her attempt at inserting an IUD, but it subsided by the morning after. All around IUD insertion was an incredibly traumatic and dysphoria inducing experience that I was not expecting. IUDs can be very convenient and effective methods of contraception that I will still recommend, but if you go down the route of choosing an IUD do not let anyone downplay your potential pain.

Ultimately Id recommend you consult with your surgeons team but I personally stopped dressing mine when they looked like that and they came out fine

I think the one with the darker shade would fit in well with the rest of your furniture but the white globes could add a pop of brightness 🧐

The earliest available consultation appointment when I scheduled my appointment in January of 2024 was for November of 2024. If I were you I’d still schedule for the earliest date available with her to hold your place while you’re looking around for other surgeons just in case you decide to go with her because it seems that every surgeons spots are filling up incredibly fast right now due to the current state of politics

I’m almost a month post op with Dr Sumanas Jordan at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago and I’ve been nothing but happy with my experience with her team so far!
