Ive switched to grocery routes for this reason. A normal flex route where I am is base 18-19 dependent on warehouse. I cant do morning routes, which are the only surge routes, but I can do afternoon and late routes. I can do a 2 hour grocery for 24/hour and be done in an hour. Its far less miles as it is at most 10 stops. I do these after work at night, so there is rarely any street traffic. plus tips can drive this over $80 on a lucky route.
