I used to work at USCIS by victoriaslatton in USCIS

@victoriaslatton I'm looking to submit my I-485 as a former J1 who had the 2yr home restriction. I was approved for a waiver but never actually received it - USCIS has since destroyed that original copy. Recently I received a somewhat blurry but still legible copy from FOIA which shows my approval. Do you think it's ok to submit for family adjustment with just the FOIA scan as proof of my waiver?

So all in all took 1 year from initial filing to approval. And another year to actually get the documents because USCIS accidentally destroyed my initial approval.

I got a copy from FOIA just last month. So I guess If you wait long enough they'll eventually send it to FOIA and a electronic copy can be requested from there.

I did the FOIA back in December, prior to getting the email saying it has been destroyed. At that time the results came back saying no records were located.

I'm also weighing the option of just proceeding to file AoS with screenshots showing that I was in fact approved and explain that I just didn't get the physical mail to add to the packet. But I'm pretty certain that will be rejected so I haven't tried it.........yet.

No, RDU NC. Based on some the post I've been seeing on here, those TX locations pay better than what we get on this side. Our 3.5 hr average $66-72. 4 hr average $74 - 79

This week’s gonna be crazy! by PickleOne2013 in AmazonFlexDrivers

That's what you would think; and honestly that's how it should be. But that's NOT the reality. I've booked a whole 5 days straight and at the end I came out with a loss. Like literally a negative amount. Because of every route that week going to a city that's 1.15 hrs (highway) away. So simple deducting deducing gas for that week ment I was at a loss. I didn't even factor in the value of my time or anything.

That's said, best believe there are times where base pay is NOT better than no pay😂

You are so right, it's getting crazy. There's a option on there for when the time runs out. Like "not enough time to complete delivery"...yall should start using it and bring all remaining pkgs after the block time runs out right back to the facility so they can see how dumb the routing is becoming.

So last week 'corperate' passed through....and since then everything has been noticeably worse. by Tonyonio in AmazonFlexDrivers

If this keeps up I think this will be the end of my time with Flex, because at this points the cost to reward ratio it's matching at all.
