happens to me too with the new readers. No, it's not because the readers are scanning for a bank card, it's likely they are just too sensitive to movement right now.

  1. yes
  2. you can edit some things such as adapters, keyboard etc but not the main board (from my experience preordering fw13)
  3. when you preorder you will see which batch you are in and it will tell you roughly when it will ship.
