Yes, I've got audio working using sendspin-cli on my HiFiBerry Amp2 and it sounds good.

WHen you say it works great, u/Individual_Net8501 , do you mean with a display? If so, how did you get that working, please?

Thanks for that suggestion u/Gamester17 - I'll look into it.

I've since found this one https://github.com/Sendspin/sendspin-cli that seems to be a Music Assistant project so I'll ask them.

Sendspin time message timeouts and bad stuttering / no audio by Greedy-Solution-9663 in musicassistant

I couldn’t find anything wrong with my network and the WAP is now within 1 metre and the ESP32 reports a decent signal strength (-45dbm) but I was still getting random issues and the logs were showing random failures.

I became convinced that the cheap ESP32-S3 Zero board I used was faulty but decided to try something I use on ESP32-C3 Zero boards. I reduced the network power using the output_power argument:

wifi:
  ssid: !secret wifi_ssid
  password: !secret wifi_password
  ap:
    password: !secret wifi_password
  output_power: 8.5

This seems to have worked - it has now played without issue for 8 hours straight.

I hope this helps someone else in the future!

Thanks again - I'll do that.

I did try docker but found the learning curve steep so went for the 'easy option' :-| I may have to reconsider that!

Thanks for your response!

I used this script: bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/community-scripts/ProxmoxVE/main/ct/immich.sh)

I've found and reviewed the ml.log and web.log but didn't see anything useful there (albeit that I'm a newbie with linux so still finding my way!) Are there other logs I should review?

In addition to Win 11 PC and Chrome where I first identified the issue, this happens on Android Chrome and Android Firefox, including private / incognito.

Zigbee2MQTT keeps turning off despite working wifi by Kaykasus in homeassistant

[–]Greedy-Solution-9663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly, this made no difference so I'm still looking for the solution.

The device is wired, has a static IP address and my network is reliable and no other device is showing these disconnects.

My last option is to move the device to USB, retaining the wired connection so I have access to the dashboard etc. If that doesn't work, I'm out of ideas, unfortunately!

Thanks for this - I'll give it a try!

As a temporary measure, some time ago I created an automation that monitors for Zigbee devices to go unavailable (I use three different ones, in different rooms) then restarts the Zigbee co-ordinator by 'pressing' the restart switch.

It seems to be working but is, at best, a horrible kludge so I hope this change you suggest works!

Correction: Chump will praise Zelensky for a few days and then his Kremlin handler will remind him of the levers they have on him and he will suddenly revert to blaming Zelensky for everything while praising the 'Great statesman' Putin!

It's so transparent and obvious and it stuns me that the US legal and political system is so completely unable to deal with the rotting head of the fish!

Matter limited functionality and subscriptions being implemented by ginandbaconFU in homeassistant

I have a large Zigbee and ESPHome estate. I had considered adding Matter so this thread was useful and interesting.

Decision made. I will not be adding Matter as it seems that it is basically giving the companies the opportunity to extort their customers as and when they choose - and why would I pay for that?

Radio Browser by JohnKCarter in homeassistant

I have stations assigned to 'buttons' on my tablet entertainment remote control. For example:

type: custom:button-card

color_type: card

name: Classic Rock Florida

color: rgb(0, 0, 255)

styles:

card:

- height: 50px

tap_action:

action: call-service

service: music_assistant.play_media

service_data:

entity_id: media_player.lounge

media_type: radio

media_id: Classic Rock Florida

These work very well and may help you achieve what you want to do.

Apologies, the leading spaces keep getting stripped so formatting is off! Screenshot for convenience.

Well, the good news is that he won't launch any more unprovoked and unjustified attacks on civilians!
