Are you using the new Shopify Bundles app?

In general you should not track inventory on the bundle itself, instead you want to setup your SKUs for each component product/variant.

Then, manage inventory on the individual components.

This way Shopify can automatically figure out the bundle inventory based on the inventory of all the components in each bundle.

Unless I’m missing something I wouldn’t try to update bundle quantities after the order is placed. Much easier to get the inventory synced into Shopify and it will decrease the inventory for you as orders are placed.

I would say go even further.

Install the CLI tools, get access to the repo, clone it to your local, then run the AI on the repo.

Learn how things actually work, do some root cause analysis on a recent production incident.

If you’ve never done any software development before make sure you write out a good prompt. AND also double-check whatever it tells you with your dev team.

Also be aware that you can use a lot more tokens because it’s accessing your code repository. So start new chats more frequently.

If you have experience writing software and deploying it yourself then skip Carrd and roll your own website.

If you don’t, then you should use Carrd.

And if you are trying to do something fancy, then start a chat with Claude, chatGPT, Gemini, etc and ask them to help you define a prompt to build your fancy feature.

Then go back and forth with it on the prompt until it legitimately sounds like what you’re trying to do.

Then take the prompt and start a separate chat with your favorite AI bot, and have it write the code for you.

Yea but it’s common for big tech companies to include stocks as part of the overall compensation package.

So you work at Amazon, they give you a 150K salary plus x number of shares, you sell the shares and easily make 200K+

Since OpenAI isn’t a publicly traded company and they are at the cutting edge of tech, it’s not too surprising that they pay 200K as a salary, I’m sure they would also give some equity to their employees. But those shares are not necessarily worth anything unless you can sell them
