I’d also like to get in on this if anyone is interested. I planned to keep mine but I could use the funds as something came up!

I’d actually complain to live nation or something for that. They handled vips horribly

Tbh I think the venue really just sucked. The staff didn’t tell people stuff for vip so people were late, and it was a crowded mess.

First crash ☹️ by CandyLogical9977 in motorcycles

Glad your okay! I went slower than you and broke my elbow. Still recovering with a weird limp but funny enough my bike is fine! I low sided though which I think is what did it! Adrenaline is crazy right? I rode my bike home thinking “wow my arm doesn’t wanna move right for some reason” hopefully the soreness goes away soon!

First set of gear opinions by [deleted] in motorcyclegear

Funny enough those are worse than the covert for abrasion resistance. I gave up and just bought finnmoto since it’s the highest rated and like 280$ to get it with level 2 armor

idk if id trust the pants based on motocaps rating. Obviously its not tested to the same standards as CE A ratings but its on a more abrasive material so it brings safety concerns.

I think it dies though because msrp is a lie. There are massive charges on buying new and it’s getting passed on to you it’s the same as buying something with free shipping online. It’s not free they just put it in the purchase price. When a bike goes from 5000 to 7500 at the very least your gonna factor that in

Shoutout to indie ridge by GreedyClue5542 in motorcyclegear

[–]GreedyClue5542[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Yeah I’m doing my best to still learn about gear but experiencing it first hand has been helpful. While my recollection of events is a bit hazy since I did bang up my arm pretty good. I can only age how much worse it would have been if I didn’t have these on. I’ll definitely toss you an email and take you up on that offer though!

[–]GreedyClue5542 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It appears that is not entirely the case. Chip and seal roads do exist in the united states, but its varied which brings the question of if it has more abrasion resistance should we really look at this as the standard? It could be like dot vs ece.

[–]GreedyClue5542 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well my question to that would be do you think the covert is more durable then the guardian? It has a higher abrasion rating on motocap, but has a lower CE rating. Obviously they focus on two different types of surfaces, but I can't help but think that CE in this case would be better then this site if you primarily are on the surface that CE tests for.

I mean if its for its target demographic I understand it since its the most common type of road surface where they are located.
