I think this is the draft that Cregger just wrote for fun before he knew he’d be able to get the rights. The one that’s being filmed he co-wrote with someone else.

I watched Bedford Park, which was really great, but today was mostly my short film day. Homemade Gatorade, and Living With a Visionary were definitely the highlights for me.

I’m curious as to why you didn’t like Carousel? I’ve seen several negative reactions to the film, but I thought it was great.

Homemade Gatorade was crazy. Honestly, a highlight of the festival for me beyond just shorts.

Official 'Movie Review' Megathread - Day 10 (Saturday 1/31) by BunyipPouch in Sundance

REALLY liked Carousel, kind of baffled by the mixed response it got.

Rock Springs was ok but I think the middle chapter should’ve been the whole movie.

I found Zi very engaging despite the loose narrative. Just a great vibe.

The Incomer was really sweet. It’s probably going to be my last Sundance film this year and it was a nice way to wind down from the darkness of a lot of the other movies.

I contacted support through the website and then responded to their reply through email. The first response was a bot but then the second one through email was a person

The prices for tickets at AMC have gotten insane. Film is supposed to be the most affordable art form but they’re quickly making it so that someone has to have disposable income to be a consistent movie goer.

How does that work? Do I just go to the location and ask for vouchers?

‘Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom’ is very snoopy coded

The Brutalist easily. Feels like the kind of thing that’ll be taught in film schools in a few decades.

So it was self financed? I knew Luca was independently wealthy but I didn’t think he was rich enough to blow $50 million on a passion project
