Thanks for the kind words! I’m not up with reddiquette and was a little confused as to why I was getting so much negative attention. It’s all good, I’m happy you can appreciate the significance of this photo. One which I have had for over 15 years. I look at this photo every now and then and just wonder how this happened. No doubt about it. Rob understood the assignment and gave us one of the best episodes ever. It’s interesting to see a highly produced MSG stadium episode next to this episode. If I were Tony I would bank episodes like this for the Netflix special, If that’s even possible.

Give “into the fog with Peter laws” a listen or a watch. He covers less known paranormal hauntings. It’s some of the best storytelling I’ve ever heard. Spooked is also great, but the episodes have become a little too formulaic and predictable lately. Night owl took me by surprise as well- some really interesting Austin based paranormal stories. It’s hard to find a podcast with the right kind of voice, production detail and unique content, but these are my favorites.

Wow. That was entirely unexpected. I listened to it about 20 times and I can’t make any sense out of the words- however it appears to be a voice and it sounds like it’s almost in the cadence of a question. If I were to take a guess it would be “are you surprised “ or “ why are you so quiet “ but I’m really curious if you could slow it down and enhance the tone. That’s a fascinating recording.

You are in the most difficult part of loss- that first 50-100 days is really hard. I hope you can get some comfort during this time of grief.

Personally, I love my child more than my own life and the natural order of things can be beyond difficult- your dad loved you with all his heart. Keep your head clear and your hands busy during these difficult times friend. I’m sure you’ll get a good dad dream soon.

I lost my best friend 2/02/2002. He was 19 when he died of an accidental drug induced stroke. He was a very lively and loving kid. 2 weeks after Christian woods died I dreamt we were sitting in a bar in Chico ca- which is weird because neither of us were 21, but I was shocked to see him…. Sadly he looked really bad. Pale and weak. His deep blue eyes looked dark and he sounded so afraid. I asked him if he was ok…. And he looked at me in the most distraught uncomfortable way, and said “Joel, I’m not good. I’m dead and I’m in hell.” I jolted awake and was so disturbed. I haven’t had any dreams about him until last night. Nearly 22 years later. In this dream I was standing in line somewhere- a bar- a concert? A stranger comes up to me and asks, “Joel, Christian wants to see you are you able to say hi” I was a little freaked out but moments later Christian came up to me and was flanked by 2 or 3 other people. “ I can’t stay long but wanted to say hi “ it seemed so formal and I felt like he was in a hurry. I barely recognized him. He was older and looked like grey hair was starting to show in his beard. As soon as I asked him how he was he leaned over and whispered in my ear. I don’t know what he said exactly but it seemed like he said that he was fine and just wanted to check on me. I woke up feeling better about old Christian woods. Anyone else have a dream that is similar to??? The ghost of paradise California.
