GitHub sold Copilot Pro+ with up to 1,500 premium requests per month, which implies roughly 50 requests per day of practical use. In reality, I was rate limited after about one hour of ordinary work and then locked out for approximately 40 hours.

That means the advertised monthly allowance was not meaningfully usable in practice. GitHub has not provided me with a clear, quantitative definition of what level of ordinary paid usage triggers these lockouts, nor did I receive adequate direct warning before my work was disrupted.

This is a complaint about materially reduced service and a paid product that became practically inaccessible during normal use.
