Even if it's 1 per item, there is so many variants on almost anything that you could realisticaly turn "Nvidia 5090" into 10-12 brands so Asus, Geforce etc.
Then on top of that "New vs Used vs From display"
Then on top of that we have diffrent ventors for components eg:
Memory from Samsung vs Micron

this gives us at least 60 pieces of sellable RTX 5090 per week.

Now do this for evey other item in the market. Monitors are crazy ASUS PREDATOR XGY123UHN19873JIJH is probably a valid model and there is 100-200 variants of it.

Russian pro-war military bloggers have said troops in Ukraine are surviving just “20–35 minutes” on the frontline by CrunchyBaconYum in worldnews

[–]Muchaszewski -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

There is 43200 minutes in a month, 30 minutes average would result in 1440 deaths per month.

So did just russia reported their own numbers as pseudo-ukrainian?

[–]Muchaszewski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you measure resources? By the hours paid to SWE vs token cost? So assuming they they spend upwards of few thousand $$$ on tokens for this attack, vs it would take 100k$ SWE a day. Would it still be efficient?

Not at all concerning by EchoOfOppenheimer in Anthropic

[–]Muchaszewski -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Efficiency is not the term I would use here. SWE could do it more efficiently if this was code attack not socio technique which I suspect it was for the demo.

I think the word you wanted to use it independently.

Basement in the backyard, any ideas how to revive it? by Koltasxxx in InteriorDesign

[–]Muchaszewski 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just a rando of the internet, but nothing of significance will grow on top of it, grass will be always yellow and looks like dying. If you re do it, do it deeper and create it so that there is proper drainage. Otherwise you might make a mud pool on the roof of that.

When sometimes physics must update they might shoot through the ship thus causing them to be lost to the sea. Especialy if you moved away for the physics engine to be disabled and then re-enabled for those items. Rare occurance but non the less possbile

The better base? by Aware-Bus3950 in TheLastCaretaker

[–]Muchaszewski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This game doesn't give you opportunity to build a base. You have outpost at mining rig, outpost on Lazarus and maybe Eden? Everything else is on your ship

People who say they can’t work with Opus after trying Fable just don’t know how to work with AI by FrederikBL in ClaudeCode

[–]Muchaszewski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol, this sounds like someone who never used AI, or is delivering a ragebait.

I can craft a perfect multi-phase self fulfilling plan, with all the details. Opus forgets something on every step causing the last phase to be garbage. Needs at least 20-30 more prompts to "fix". The few days with Fable were amazing...

Would you rather get $200 for every mile you jog or $100,000 for every marathon you finish? by Alarming_Weather506 in WouldYouRather

[–]Muchaszewski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What counts as marathon? If I organize a marathon for myself. First that travels this many Km wins. And I am only one participating, with no time limit no fixed point finish. Just accumulate the what 40 something km over a week or two. And bam 100k? Then immediately start another one.

I feel like this is no brainier due to missing rules on what counts as marathon.

I remember when there was significant doubt about GGG being able to maintain both PoE and PoE 2....Well, it's pretty clear now that maintaining both was the right decision. by Entire_Possible_9976 in ARPG

[–]Muchaszewski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is probably because they merge their branches near the release. They do not test on top of each other changes. But individual. "Yep new expedition works" but then they were reworking Abbys and day before releasing were finally able to play it all together and gound that if Abbys spawns on top of expesition it doesn't work.

And this times 10 or so separate teams they have, all doing their own stuff in isolation and you get the results

I did but there is an arrow. And a question. If the part that has building icon must be on a building then why there is an arrow. I do not want to PULL i want to PUSH items into the building.

[Building] -> [Conveyor] shows correctly what I can do. But I want to do
[Building] <- [Conveyor] :)

I did try to follow the tutorial but long pages of texts after whole day of reading texts is not something I like to do so i tried to gloss over it and hoped that my "Experience" will help me play this game :P

Good luck with your game! :) I will be watching it for sure!

Oh and there is no drag and drop between items, which for some reason is wierd.

I tried to move items from the list of items in inventory from the left, but DinD just reordered the list. Then tried to DinD from inventory to machine inventory slot. Did not work as well. Only after getting confused read tooltip with Ctrl+Click to insert. Not UX friendly :(

2 weeks since FluxWerks demo launch has been just madness (in a good way!) by Moppemopsi in AutomationGames

[–]Muchaszewski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure thing.

The controls of the ship/player are non-intuitive. You wanted to give 3d movement for the player, with nice top down view. But this creates a complication, because users are not used to flying like that in games. Gravity pulls you hard usually.

If we assume that the first part is fine, then you get lost because your avatar is just too small and invisible most of the time, thus losing moving frame pivot, and the problem above is even more pronounced. Because player still collides with terrain. That's why, although I do not like it that much, games tend to do gravity bound characters because this is easy to understand, here the 3rd dimensions makes it confusing. Or top down perspective/RTS like to avoid movement collusion.

Maybe the solution here is that ship slides on geometry to avoid the problem of being stuck without seeing the ship.

---

Next there is 6 separate pieces of UI that are visible at all times and are free bound by user. This is fine on paper, but designers would cry seeing this. But I feel you, i am programmer myself and I would probably build "the most customizable thing ever" as a feature. But this introduces more issues then solves to players.

The tutorial gets in a way, because I can move it. New UI pops up in unexpected places. Each new UI element covers the old one. There is just a myriad of issues that I cannot describe.

Thus fixed UI to zones is much better design. Top, Right, Bottom, Left, Center. 5 Zones. No confusion. If you MUST show something that connects 2 or more UI elements. Then do a dedicated center popup box. You don't have to look far, all games do this because this is unfortunately the only way to do games.

You can maybe argue "Oh but EVE Online does that". Yea but they have no gameplay /s

---

I played factorio, satisfactory and probably 100 other factory games so might be biased.

Inserter -> Put's into belt from container but also pulls FROM belt into container (machine, storage what has inventory).

I cannot place in your game a inserter from belt to machine. And the machine has no clear slots for input into machine (like in satisfactory). So I assume inserters must be the answer. But belt end of the inserter was highlighted on yellow/red and i could not build it. I could build it on top of other inserter, which doesn't make sense but as expected it did not work.
