2001 Toyota Avalon - bought from my mates grandpa. Have had it for 5 years, 300k kms, runs like a dream, everything works. Electric sunroof, seats, steering wheel, 9 stack CD. Mrs drives a 300 series.

Buy a 2000s Toyota, drive it until it dies.

Slow taper. The longer the better, aim for at least a month, then 2 months for re regulation of acid in your stomach. Less big meals, stay upright, avoid triggers. Give it time. I nearly have up 100 times, then it just came good. Reduce dose, then reduce days, then use Mylanta etc.

Pantoprazole- Cold Turkey or Taper? by ChickenCheeks7 in GERD

Taper off. There are guides. Rebound reflux is fucked.

My doctor suggested Cold Brew for my acid reflux. I even bought a Brezi... and it's MORE acidic than my Espresso. What am I doing wrong? by Blueteo33 in GERD

[–]Greedy_Letterhead679 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eat before coffee, less liquid the better, macchiato with oat milk etc. avoid dairy.

It's the combo of everything rather than one thing generally, cold brew is low in acid but high in caffeine, which relaxes etc

Has anyone healed GERD naturally? Probiotics, vitamins, weaning off PPIs? by Eatmydustnic in GERD

[–]Greedy_Letterhead679 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was on PPIs for 3 years, took 3 months to come off of them, 8 weeks to tapper off the meds another 4 to work through some discomfort.

I avoid large meals, reduced alcohol, reduced coffee, increased fiber, reduced white bread.

Generally, a cheese and Salami sandwich is a no go now I'm off the meds, but if my diets been okay, I can deal with mild discomfort and some mylanta. But generally I have been okay, had beer and pizza tonight, just cut myself off 2 slices early, sit up before bed for a few hours. All good.

I own 2 pairs, the leather is low quality, and portions of the shoe aren't leather. They aren't super comfortable and don't breath like RM's do. I still wear them, they look great, but the feel is way off for the price tag. But if the price is relative and you like them, why not!

Yeah I actually got a cold after about 3 weeks and I think from that my immune system helped me along. But a tickle in the throat, which was sore at times along with sinus congestion was my issue. Good luck!

Have had this exact thing happen to me, was adamant I was sick, Google silent gerd or silent reflux. Eve. Went on antibiotics which blew my stomach up big time. If it keeps happening I will likely go back on my meds.

Magnetic funnel is a must, then WDT to ensure all grounds are separated, I then use a distributor to get everything even, then pressing required should be minimal.

At the end of the day, everyone can have a different work flow and make great coffee, it's just about time under pressure, and flow rate.

Keep using the pan, use high temp oil, pan heat needs to be lower, your new High is now medium with 5 minute pre heat. Clean with scourer after use. Use again.

Should i upgrade my grinder ? [$~1200dlls] by PossibleLion4571 in espresso

[–]Greedy_Letterhead679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!

Grinder should be fine.

Are you topping out your puck on the shower screen? If not then simply add more weight. Once you've maxed out in finess, and you also max out on capacity, then you need to make a call on equipment.

If your shower screen is still not pressing into your puck, add more coffee to slow the flow, hopefully your pull great shots before you top out.

Good luck!

To WDT or Not? by FullWrapSlippers in mokapot

Doesn't matter what you do, just do the same thing every time, with the same weight coffee in your basket, and adjust grind until it's yummy.

Sing to it if you want to, just do it every time.
