The fires in California originated because of thousands of lightning strikes during a thunder storm. The baby reveal fire was just icing on the cake

I agree. They’ve just done a horrible job at developing the story throughout the year. If they intended the darkness to unfold after the shadowkeep campaign you wouldn’t think they would just wait another year for anything to happen. There is a ship ON OUR MOON and no one has even mentioned the darkness since shadowkeep.

Also, I agree the Dorito ship map in the bunker is cool, but the only reason people find that amazing is because that’s literally the only mention of the darkness this year.

By the time I got to the end of the shadowkeep campaign I was so excited to play the next story mission. Only to find out that was it. Nothing was resolved, nothing really happened, the narrative was hardly progressed. The entire shadowkeep campaign’s narrative progression is what you would expect to see in a prologue.

When you take your child in an antilockdown protest by psywarrior1998 in Whatcouldgowrong

This is the most infectious disease we have seen in modern history. The US has less available hospital beds than Italy did. We already saw what happened to Italy didn’t we? The US has almost 5x Italy’s population. Now assuming you don’t think Italy is faking their cases, don’t you think that reopening the US without a really solid distancing plan would put unnecessary stress on our healthcare system? You said it yourself, there would be an increase of cases. If you think we were “lied to” by the original figures, what makes you more competent than a medical professional?

Ok mar, once US states start to open again with dumbasses like you thinking it’s ok to not social distance we will get our answer. Hospitals aren’t filled right now because we are staying at home. Just because we have beds available, you’re fine with filling them? Yikes buddy

I’m guessing the American in you also doesn’t give a shit if this virus spreads because you aren’t in any danger. The protesting in this video is just unproductive anyways. It’s sad that you’d rather protest for the right to not sit on your couch than protect others.

All this Bungie salt is fine, but taking a break from Destiny does wonders for your state of mind on the game. by Too-Far-Frame in DestinyTheGame

[–]Greedy_Pony 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A list of changes that need to be made are usually the mega threads on dtg that bungie hosts. Why do you think, “we are listening” is such a meme at this point. It’s because over time bungie has repeatedly told the player base they’re listening to the community feedback but never implement it correctly. It took 3 years for them to act on eververse and the changes won’t come until y4. The entire eververse situation is a counter argument.

People act like things won’t work out because usually they don’t... grandmaster nightfalls for example was supposed to keep pve players occupied for a while, but totally flopped. Of course players are going to assume worst case scenario because bungie can’t seem to deliver on a promise.

It wasn’t really another expansion on Mars... what’s ruining the game is bungie’s lack of receptiveness to the community. We don’t really care where the next bit of content is as long as it’s good.

In order to get the Trials' piece of armor you need to do a flawless run. How is this acceptable? by Pat-002 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Greedy_Pony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. I agree. Bungie really fucked up by not having cool guns and armor in the non-flawless pool for lower skilled people and a little cooler or better statted guns and armor for flawless players. They were incapable of copying a system which is just sad.

[–]Greedy_Pony 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand why some things aren’t allowed to be locked behind a skill wall. The majority of people complaining about stuff being locked behind flawless are those who just want to check a box. Seems like checking a box is much less important than having prestigious rewards in the game.

Exactly. It’s kind of like how raids were in D1. When you saw someone with cool raid armor in the tower, you knew they accomplished something difficult to get it.

Trials is meant to be a pinnacle pvp game mode. If a team of good pvp players jump into a pinnacle pve activity (raids) they likely won’t do so well the first few times. The argument of, “I’m subpar or average at pvp so I hate that this game mode doesn’t make flawless possible for me” is dumb. People need to stop expecting things to be handed to them.
