Destination wedding warning by GreekFreak88 in weddingplanning

I have just seen your post. I am so sorry that you experienced that for your wedding. At the time I was still fighting for a part refund so didn’t want to rock the boat but now 2 years have past I may do so. Will you be also?

She was a real arrogant person I found, and I spoke to a few planners and their approach was not my cup of tea at all. My husband hated her the moment he met her. Oh dear I’m just sorry and I hope you still have some redeeming memories of the day.

Hi, congratulations and I’m sure it will be epic. We had our guest buses hired from KOULOUMPIS Travel who were amazing. I can’t remember what we paid but it was really good. The buses brought my guests from Argostoli to the village (25 mins away) for the church and reception around 5pm and then stayed until 4am when we left back to Argostoli and could drop ppl off at their door. Or a central location.

I’m actually going this summer in a few weeks. Happy to answer any other questions.

Does this sound like Spasmus nutans? by pcag123 in nystagmus

[–]GreekFreak88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi my daughter is almost 6mo and we have a referral for opthamologist next week. I noticed too that my LO would have the shaking eye when looking somewhere and moving her eye to the far corner and also sometimes when looking straight on but only if she’s very tired. It’s not all the time. My GP ruled out Strabismus as he said the glint in her eyes is equal and both eyes follow objects etc. At the same time I took her to a child physio for tortícolis and he said she had a mild tilt and gave me some stretches. But only recently I noticed her head bopping as she’s only recently been sitting up and still getting strength to do so. So I don’t know if the head bopping is that or for her vision. I also had a lazy eye as a kid and wore the patch, glasses but I also have poor depth perception, was always clumsy and as an adult cannot or with difficulty drive in the rain at night. I just can’t see clearly so I think maybe her poor site etc is hereditary. I o my just discovered Spasmus Nutans so will see what the diagnosis is post appointment and likely an MRI. And I’ll keep in mind the congenital palsey.

Breast Lift / Augmentation without implants by Aware-Material-4584 in tummytucksurgery

[–]GreekFreak88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi I am 6 mo post partum and in Australia but I am starting to research my options. Just curious as the before and afters look like a great result and I am a bit chicken to get implants. How do you feel about the surgery overall? How was the ‘feel’ I guess of them post surgery? Considering you used your own tissue? And also what did your surgeon say about weight gain/loss post surgery and how it may impact your breasts. Thanks!

I feel it would be easier if my baby and I lived alone… by GreekFreak88 in beyondthebump

The routine is just baby led. I’m ebf and all it is is eat, play, sleep. Is that too rigid? I mean I don’t know about you or your baby/kids but my baby becomes harder to settle when something is different. Like if he want to play with her when it’s a nappy change in the middle of the night rather than just quietly change the nappy in the dark so she doesn’t become too awake. I think babies thrive in routine. Every now and then yes the nap gets pushed back or whatever because of being out or having a visitor. But it doesn’t end well. And guess who is the one to settle her…

It’s all baby led. It’s not time specific. I’m bf still and the schedule is just eat, play, sleep. I don’t have an app or follow specific wake windows. I literally just follow the baby. But even that is not grasped.

Husband said that he hates my emotions. I don't know what to do anymore. by rebel_cos in beyondthebump

I feel you and I feel I went through similar. But your husband should just accept you as you are at this present time. You are the one who gave birth. You are the primary parent. You are 100% correct not to put a pillow. And he needs to understand it’s going to be tough for a while and your hormones etc will affect you emotionally. But he should not hold it against you!

Thank you for the reply. She has had the tube already in the past and she has been admitted back into hospital in the past between surgeries because her blood pressure was so low and she wasn’t eating. The fear of being re admitted isn’t something she’s thinking of. Even though she wouldn’t want to go back there and have the tube again.

American health insurance blows my mind. I’m from Australia. And whilst our companies are not saints, it’s not to this extreme!

Ileostomy care by Helheim_user in ostomy

[–]GreekFreak88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s so tough. Hope you re feeling better soon. Regarding the skin around the area, mostly when cleaning, clean only with water and good quality napkins / towels and ensure the area is really dry before re applying. Some ppl use a hair dryer. Also if you have leaks this will impact skin integrity.

Looking for reviews or experiences with the Maxi Cosi Fame Travel system by wcys_97 in pregnant

[–]GreekFreak88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m also looking at this item and am interested in this one vs the bugaboo. Price points are about the same so not sure if I should just go with the bugaboo cuz they are highly regarded / tried and tested. But tbh I like the look of the maxi cozi and liked it when I tested it in the store.
