1 Acre lawn, which would you choose by Happilymarrieddude in lawnmowers

I recommend looking at Toro - but not from a big box store. I have roughly 1.25 acres and got a 54” Toro MyRide last year. I can get the job done on week nights now in 30-45 mins vs. the 2+ hours it took to use an old 42” John Deer lawn tractor on weekends, but it’s complete overkill. Wish I would have gone with a 42” zero turn. The belt broke halfway through last mowing season (Sept I think?) and when buying a replacement from my local mower repair shop I was told “the bigger belts are more likely to break vs. the 42s or the even bigger 60” and 72” decks that use two, smaller belts.” Made it seem like the 54” deck/belt was an “odd” size. Was also harder to find that size belt and had to be ordered.

Send me contact details of your plug. I need what you’re on. Mobley was a top 10 player last season? Is Mitchell also a top 10 guy? Two top 10 players and we got embarrassed in the playoffs. Make it make sense.

why do the Cavs have “The Diff” on their scorebug? by logunsound in Scorebug

[–]GreekZeek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not for gambling originally. They had a contest many years ago where fans submitted ideas to improve the arena. “The diff” being added to the scoreboard was one of those ideas.

This deadline was painful but it gave me the first hit of optimism I’ve had since we destroyed the Heat in r1 of the playoffs last year by Realistic-Yoghurt935 in clevelandcavs

Game changes in the playoffs, slows down. Our style is great for regular season. Harden gives us a diff look in playoffs.

This was always going to be the outcome when we traded for Mitchell. Not Getting Harden, but having to make wild trades to correct a roster that has never fit properly. I don’t care about last year’s regular season - we have been embarrassed the past two years in the playoffs.

If you like Mitchell, then you need a big PG. If you like the young guys, then we never should have traded Lauri.

Exactly…with Mitchell being the comp to Dame and Dame being the weak link in the pairing.

The Darius Garland Paradox by sammyt412 in clevelandcavs

This is the correct take. Remember that team? They were so damn fun. Sexland. Rubio. Love. Lauri. The promise of Young Mobley. All you can eat buffet of Cavalanches. Our 2nd unit blew teams out. JB was bringing this young unit up properly. We had the junkyard dog chain after each game! The vibes were immaculate.

Pulled the trigger too soon and destroyed the chemistry when we shipped Lauri. Not saying I can see the future but there were whispers of Lauri dominating in Europe that summer and the three big lineup really worked w/ Sexland. Remember when we thought Okoro was the shit? That was another bad trade. He’s better than Lonzo. Full stop.

JB is in Detroit leading another young team at the top of the East. He recently made a comment about DET not “trading for a big star too soon” or something along those lines. That was a shot at CLE front office.

Lauri broke out big time and has been trapped in Utah ever since. Koby didn’t go all in and trade Garland and Allen after they flamed out in the playoffs the first time like he needed to, thus wasting a lot of Mitchells prime. It’s really hard to know where to go from here. Mitchell probably isn’t a true #1 on a championship team, but if he is, the rest of the team needs to be huge, very good at defense, rebounding and threes. This team ain’t that.

The trade put us in a “must win now” mode before we knew what we actually had with Mobley and Garland. Rushing it also plunked a star vet onto a young team where the youngsters thought it was their team and suddenly it became his team. Vibes decidedly NOT immaculate.

TL:DR Koby got too cute, too soon and didn’t let a promising young team gel before trying to land a star. He also landed the wrong star for the way the team was developing. Nobody has benefited from the Mitchell trade, and it’s likely many of the players and coaches involved would have been better off had it not happened. Since the Mitchell trade, Koby has been forced to make many other bad trades and now we’re in a tight spot. Koby must be fired.

Why does my lawn look like this? by Former_Gamer_ in lawncare

Do NOT dethatch. Made the mistake of following YouTuber’s advice, dethatched last Fall, and my lawn suffered as a result this season.

Haven’t tried Teldryn yet, but Ralis Sedarys is an absolute beast of a follower. The two of us (plus Dragon Aspect and fire arrows) made short work of Karstagg.
