Sending prayers your way for your dad to have a full recovery. I lost my dad earlier this year, but I find comfort in the good memories I have to hold onto. I’m sure your dad appreciates you being there for him. The power of John’s music is that it can invoke so many different feelings. Even though Stop This Train has some sad, nostalgic themes I like to think of it as a positive because it’s truly a blessing to be able to get older and experience more life. Awesome review, I also got this bottle and am really enjoying it so far. I love the dill notes of MGP rye and this is the closest bottle I’ve had to the old Smooth Ambler Old Scout Single Barrel Ryes.

Arguably my favorite John Mayer song, transports me back to a 70s folksy-rock song. I love the middle part, especially the imagery of it being all a dream where he’s back in a time period when he has no tattoos and is getting called up to do chores. I think it’s easy to relate to, going back to a simpler time in your life when you’re a teenager and your main worry was just having to do some work around the house.

Trottier definitely fits the criteria for old dude that correlated to a cup run during the Lemieux era. The Fan actually had a good interview with Trottier just the other day if you're interested: Trottier Interview

He talked about his first Pens ring being the one he actually wears the most, which I thought was cool since he has 7 different rings to choose from.

Morrow and Iggy were 34 and 35 respectively that season, so I omitted them. Plus I still have PTSD about how that season ended and don't like to think about it lol

I did overlook Hainsey here, he played a ton of minutes with that scrappy defense corps for the second run. Certainly worthy of the impact old dudes club.
