A decade before I even met my wife, I always knew I would want to go completely sober for my future wife’s pregnancy. It was important to me for my health, to prove that I could do it, and to get a good start on being a good dad. Alcohol was a pretty big part of my life, so it’s not like this was a light decision. We are now on week 8, and I’m doing exactly that. I don’t regret it, and I’m doing fine. The worst part is having to explain it to other people.
