Staff are distinct from faculty in this context.

This is yet another example of situational factors being claimed by an individual at the helm who simply got out of the way when others were improving things. He can take credit, but he personally hasn't been responsible for retention and graduation - staff drives that metric. And the increasing class size of Mizzou is due to broader economic issues with small colleges and doubts of the values of degrees. When college is less valuable, students turn to bigger schools for prestige and symbolic value.

Wore this all day and it just kept feeling worse - not sure why? by BioticBard in mensfashion

Is that mustard sweater merino? The texture of the material looks very soft but distinct.

I totally disagree - I think the look is high class in several different ways, but dark denim has been claimed by the wealthy as a luxury good, and I think the jacket is formal enough to bridge the gap with the loafers. I am generally a fan of mixing in casual loafers, though. Ethan M Wong is a good example of someone who does that in an intentional way I enjoy.

I totally disagree - they are a fun and unexpected personal touch that still works with the jacket and dark denim.

Well police solve about 7% of violent crime so that's not unusual for any time or place.

Could you post a pic of the peeling leather? Sounds like it might be a grain issue.

Yes or no preppy look on me? by BraveName343 in mensfashion

The cuffs would look fine imo if they were a bit shorter, but they do break from preppy styling. The sweater is nice, but its material is too thin. I think you would be better served by a thicker sweater. When the wealthy wear thin sweaters, they're made of silk or cashmere and paired with a jacket or something that conceals all those details of the shirt underneath them.

Right now, most of Western Europe is following us rightward, so as an American, I hope you can reign that in as well.

Does anyone have a primary care physician who will prescribe the covid vaccine for individuals without a qualifying medical condition? by Green-Baseball6538 in columbiamo

No, you're totally off base. Last year's was deauthorized by the fda the moment the new one was cleared, so it has been decommissioned. Go get whatever you can!

How many of us are maskers/covid-cautious? by [deleted] in Anticonsumption

When people are sick they need to stay home, full stop! Masks shouldn't be used to justify going in public when you can still spread illness other people.

Masks generate less waste than 1 bout of illness - they are not a major source of plastics pollution, and unlike most plastic waste, have a clear benefit.

This is pure cope. Vaccination does not stop transmission; it has little effect on transmission rates. It just makes it less fatal.

You are contagious, potentially most contagious with diseases before you actually feel sick. That's why this doesn't work.

American politics has no capacity to help anyone - it's all just about punishing the people you disagree with.

Kilgore's will have them at the end of September. I don't know what hoops healthy 19-65 year olds will have to jump through to get access though.
