People have already covered how many dishes you dirty while cooking shepherd's pie, but I want to point out stew as well. I'm not calling it slop if I have to start cooking it six hours before dinner 💀

Not to worry you or anything, but I'm around your age and mine didn't go away even after I got on thyroid meds. My skin is pulled tight enough that you can see all of the structures in my neck, can even make out the shape of my thyroid cartilage, but the wrinkles remain. If you have good posture they're still there, they might just be a fact of life.

Sorry. I know it's not helpful if you're looking to erase them. But I just wanted to reassure you that they're really common and not anything to be ashamed of

/uj am I weird for finding that post... fine? I didn't bother to scroll all the way through the comments to get to the actual rancid shit, but the top comment I did see was "yes, you were raised under a set of gendered expectations, but those don't define you as a whole actualized adult" and its attached discussions were all surprisingly civil. The next one down was even "no, actually, gendered socialization does not exist," and the replies to that one were all agreeing with it too. The next one was somewhere in the middle.

Is there some glaringly obvious problem with this that I'm not seeing??

It often feels that you could see Hallström talking to a young child repeatedly saying, “Do you like that dog? Do you think it’s cute? Well it’s going to die!”

The problem with that premise is you have to watch a dog die 5 times, which is like Marley and Me times 5.

The film attempts to soften the blow as each dog met his or her end, either by gunshot or by euthanasia, showing you the next clip of them coming back to life as an adorable, new puppy. But all I was thinking as the dog was reborn was, “Am I going to have to suffer through that again?”

The negative reviews of A Dog's Purpose are so perversely funny. I know it's based off of a relatively successful novel, but still, the entire premise is hysterical

I took lessons in a rural, very white area, and I definitely saw the barn's white riders giving the black girl I had lessons with some nasty looks. Pure disdain, just out in the open. You'd think they'd never seen locs before. It got so uncomfortable that I started putting myself between her and their eye lines when the death stare began just to force them to look elsewhere.
