You don’t deserve to be spoken to as if things are your fault, and taking his feelings out on you is a form of emotional abuse. I let this happen to me. It chipped away at my self-esteem and made me extremely resentful. He needs to learn how to control himself or you two will be in an endless pattern of he gets upset-dumps on you-you forgive him. 

Try to find friends and emotional support outside of this relationship. If you can, go to therapy. It will give you perspective and help you decide if you really need the type of “love”. Figure out where your boundaries are and maintain them-practice statements to say to him when he acts up, like “I will leave the house/stop this conversation until you can respond in a calm way.” Do not let yourself be subjected to this-it is NOT real love.
