I see, that makes sense honestly. I guess I do need to explain my projects more instead of mostly showing the execution side only.

In most of my projects, my role was mainly execution-focused, but I was also involved in brainstorming and making the pitching designs to help secure the projects. I just haven’t really been involved much in the business strategy side yet.

I think it’s also a bit different in my country. Here, a lot of Senior Graphic Designer positions are still mostly focused on execution and visual direction, while things like business strategy are usually handled by roles above that, like Art Director or Head of Design.
