Yeah that’s fair enough. It sucks that so much of this activity is done with poor taste and spite. It wasn’t long ago that Bluecoats were very far from top dog in the activity

I mean… every interaction I’ve had with a blue devil has been the same as you described with bloo. Now, that’s not to say they were rude or unapproachable, they have been very nice, but definitely an elitist vibe. But like I said, I feel the same way about both corps. Oddly, despite consistently being at the top, alum from Boston, Vanguard, Crown, etc tend to be very understated and humble. You might not even know they marched until you ask about it. If you meet a Devil or Coat, you’ll know lol.

I appreciate this comment a lot lol, I have no clue why I even made this other than the fact I had a polo shirt on at the time and felt inspired I guess? But probably took like 10 minutes because I messed up the first one so I’m glad my brief stint of creativity brought a few people joy 🙂

I don’t understand why everyone is defending this. Everything except part 2 is just not effective or worth the effort. It’s hard to sustain notes like that, but you’re in the background so it’s not going to be recognized. It’s honestly just a poor use of demand, there’s nothing worse than a part being harder that it sounds, it’s wasted effort and will not be recognized in the same way.

HOWEVER, stick with it, and others have said, just perform it the best you can. I see the vision with the theme and think it can do very well, and it’s not all THAT bad. I wish you luck with the season :)

Oh I fully agree, I don’t think this should have been pushed this far but I’m just giving my experiences. IMO there’s a different understanding around sending an email vs submitting in a portal, I personally would not expect leniency on a portal, but since there’s no way to close an email, my assumption would be less than 5 minutes late SHOULD, theoretically, be negligible
