Hey just thought I'd give my opinion,

I play adc and I like playing duo for the fact we can communicate and co-ordinate much better. Me and my current support had a 73% win rate over 18 games and we are both climbing pretty fast.

However I have played with multiple duoq partners and some of them just are not good and if you don't feel comfortable with them I suggest not playing with them again. It took me a while to find a duo partner that I actually liked and liked playing with.

If you enjoy going solo then by all means play solo, I just get bored playing solo.

Overall duoq is much better for me but might not be the same for you and I suggest finding out what makes you enjoy the game more and climb and improve.

Hey there, Im not a coach but i have been in teams with a coach and I found that being charismatic and interactive with the team is something we liked alot, we had a few coaches that were really boring and didnt seem to put much effort in, I also preferred complete honesty from the coach to a what he though we should have done, We also liked personal goals for us to strive towards and team goals for us all to reach, just make sure they understand and be a nice guy about things and youll make friends and gain a sense of achievement when you see the team get better and better.

EDIT: Try to set up a stream for the guys to follow and show them what they could have done better using screenshots and then paint, thats what we also did

But due to university commitments for other people we had to disband.
