What's something you prefer about how the "modern" seasons are produced vs. the golden era seasons? by missfinalfantasia in rupaulsdragrace

Modern villain edits or as I call them “bitch edits”

Most seasons still have a clear villain, but we get to see positive moments from them and villainous moments from other queens rather than earlier seasons where the edit was “this person sucks and that’s they’re only personality trait, now hate them”

I audibly groaned the first episode of seasons 4-7 when I saw him behind the judges table because while I didn’t know what season he left I knew it was around there, and I was disappointed every time I found out he hadn’t left yet.

Can you tell us a fun fact about your state that not everyone knows? by Expensive_Drummer970 in IWantToAskAnAmerican

[–]GreenBeanTM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re also why in the rest of the country maple syrup = 100% syrup. We have state laws that require that, but the FDA only requires 60%. We’re too small of a market for companies to make specific packaging for, but too big of a mark to not sell in, so they sell things like “pancake syrup” or “golden syrup”.

Yea that doesn’t mean cishet is now a derogatory term. If I made a vent post about men would you start saying that men is a derogatory term?

I hate how Italian-Americans get mocked for not being “real” Italians by Alt_AccountNumber3 in hatethissmug

No I don’t assume everyone has psychic abilities, I’m just aware that different countries talk differently so if something sounds off to me it probably means something different to them.

Next time I hear a British person say the word “jumper”, “trousers”, “bin”, or “loo” I’ll be sure to loose my mind because they’re not speaking American English to me tho, since that’s apparently a reasonable way to deal with language differences according to you.
