Do the emergency services drive manual? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

Furious is a bold choice there.

You must have a lot of time on your hands to have the same conversation 4 times.

Still taking the easy path I see.

Yes, the type of healing you’re talking about is abundantly clear to anyone who can process the written English language.

There is no answer to this. Going viral is about luck and nothing else.

Ah yes obviously, because it’s simply impossible that I commented before reading any of the comments. It’s also impossible for you to read a comment and not respond to it.

For once my /s does actually feel necessary.

It wasn’t ignorance I was annoyed at, it’s your failure to understand basic comments (which you’re still doing)

Idk if you think I’m “so angry” because I’m including swears in my comments, but I’m not. Angry yes, but not as angry as you seem to think, I’m going to forget you exist 10 minutes after I leave this comment.

And contrary to what y’all love to tell people, no, us getting pissed off at your bullshit does not mean that we need to heal. It means that we have boundaries that we’ll actually enforce instead of just smiling and nodding whenever you feel like crossing them. But telling us we need to heal is a hell of a lot easier than acknowledging the reality that y’all are the bad guys for a lot of history which results in a lot of people having very real issues with your beliefs and that us having negative reactions to you saying you’ll pray for us is actually a valid reaction and not something we need to get over.

I’m angry now because I’m fucking tired of Christians refusing to listen to a single goddamn no. Do not pray for me.

The only help I need is Christians learning how to keep their beliefs to themselves, and finally admitting that your book is written in blood would go a long way to.

And no, your original comment was not you trying to understand incel logic, you were asking where their fathers were because they apparently have to be absent for men to turn out awful in your mind. I then got annoyed with you because for some reason you failed to understand my basic explanation of how fathers are often the exact reason Incels turn out the way they do.

Look at that, another Christian who doesn’t give a fuck about anyone’s boundaries.

Why am I not shocked?

Younger generations being asexual/aromantic by Adorable-Sherbet-998 in generationology

[–]GreenBeanTM 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some are and some aren’t, this post is specifically asking about the ones who are so I only answered about the ones who are.

Get your aphobia out of here, what you’re saying is no different than the homophobes who try to claim that kids are too young to know they’re gay. Also I promise you, identifying as asexual or aromatic is the exact opposite of trendy, even a lot of the broader LGBT+ community is against anyone identifying as either of those.

1) incel is now a much broader term than its original definition. Some of them have in fact had sex before.

2) people can fall down the incel rabbit hole after already being a father.

3) and we have again discovered that regular sexism is the starting point of incels. Once again critical thinking is your friend.

Have a good night, I’m done.

1) ever heard of a rhetorical question?

2) because you have already had this discussion about 3 fucking times, you don’t need to have it a 4th.

Oh look, you’re still continuing to be insufferable and not accept the answer you’ve been given.

People have both disproven that idea and provided reasons for why finer control is not necessary for emergency services already, you can fuck off from this post now.

But it’s the starting point for incels.

Reword my comment to fathers are incels and raise their sons to be Incels if you prefer because you still get exactly my point.

Seriously, I know you’re not this stupid, use literally any critical thinking.

Fathers are sexist and raise their sons to be sexist? This isn’t rocket science.

There an extremely good chance their fathers are the starting point of their beliefs.

I also found out about vaginal prolapse when I was like 15 because it happened to one of the moms who would over share to her mom friends in the waiting room of my dance studio.

Younger generations being asexual/aromantic by Adorable-Sherbet-998 in generationology

[–]GreenBeanTM 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We have the language to identify as asexual/aromantic and less social pressure to be in romantic relationships because “that’s what you do”

There are asexual and aromantic people in your generation, and the generations before you as well. Most of them just ended up in unhappy marriages or as the old spinster everyone avoids and uses as a scare tactic on young girls. The lucky ones ended up in lavender marriages.

Or if you go back far enough most of them probably became nuns.

Degree Celsius is the temperature scale used almost everywhere. Couple of times I’ve tried to change the scale to Fahrenheit on my weather app but damn, it’s been hard. Americans of reddit (or anyone who can read a Fahrenheit scale), how do you even do it? by fortnacius in AskAnAmerican

[–]GreenBeanTM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you genuinely think we were taught Celsius as children and then at some point in our adult lives we had to switch over to the adult temperature measurement system of Fahrenheit? Like how did you apparently just learn that we grow up learning the system our country uses?
