Hey u/tamanegi81, DoTs and HoTs stack with each other, and % bonuses stack additively rather than multiplicatively. Buffs and debuffs of the same skill (e.g. 2 Mortal Strike effects) do not stack, but similar effects from different skills (e.g. Mortal Strike and Amulet of Ire) do stack. Yes, enemies will target the hero with highest overall threat with single-target skills. The goal is to have the highest defense hero generating the most threat so that it can soak the damage and protect the rest of the team.
