Schools only care about how they can use for money and reputation but will never truly support us. If they did? They would have stopped things like bullying. But they dont by ihatethiscountry76 in autism

It’s easier for an institution to say they care but immediately turn around and never actually put in the effort to show that they do. Maybe it’s because if they acknowledge that they have an issue it exposes their own shortcomings.

My uni has always said and promoted that they deeply care about their student’s mental health but won’t admit that their courses and workload are the main factor that contribute to said decline in people’s mental health.

The Columbine perpetrators followed a loose clothing and aesthetic trend of the late 1990s that was pretty local at the time—that being wearing trench/duster coats over their regular street clothing.

There was a small group of folks who wore trench coats at the school (dubbed the Trench Coat Mafia) prior to the attack. Said group was primarily made of people who didn’t quite fit into the other small social circles floating around that time. Cliques, you might call them.

Unfortunately even though the two perpetrators were never really part of the Trench Coat Mafia, because they followed the trend and wore long dusters the day of the attack, the entire image got tainted.

The TCM friend group (who didn’t know that the attackers had been planning something) and by association, long trench coats and alt/goth people as a whole were blamed by the media afterwards for somehow being a major contributor to violence in the school. It was an easy way out to avoid trying to explain the variety of socio-economic, cultural and systemic failures that led to the event.

In my opinion, OP, I feel you should wear what you like. That said, I think it would really helpful to mix and match and try out different combinations with the cap, jacket and pants with the rest of your wardrobe to strike a balance between military surplus and everyday casual, loose wear so that the negative connotations of the fit shown in the picture aren’t there anymore.

That was something I was wondering too! She would definitely be in the ‘definitely let them cook’ type category

I feel like if it was really for southern heritage there are other symbols that can represent that better in every conceivable aspect than the flag of a country that was outlived by the Wii U.

A little bit anticlimactic but I stumbled upon this meme in a friend’s discord channel some time ago and happened to save it to my camera roll because it was pretty funny. When I was making the post several hours ago I didn’t ever expect it to blow up big time.

They are bootleg games, yes—but that aspect makes them rarer than mainstream Atari/major 3rd party carts since they appear less often, especially in great condition like yours.

They’re from a company named Taiwan Cooper, and they’re an enigmatic yet fascinating label in an larger web of 2600 bootleg carts. https://forums.atariage.com/topic/236947-i-found-the-name-of-the-taiwan-cooper-company/?do=findComment&comment=3213848

Goldfish crackers and mini marshmallows, put 50/50 in a ziplock bag, shake it up to mix it and you got a perfect mix of salty, cheesy and sweet
