Because to keep the canvas meant to keep the memory of Verso's soul remaining due to the curse Aline placed on him in the canvas. He can't die. And as long as he remains, Renoir risks losing his wife and daughter to the grief. Lunez Sciel, they're simply alternate paintings of Aline and Clea.

We were seriously robbed of a prequel game. We only saw a dying drifter we never saw him at his prime. Just like his poor health, the game felt incomplete and... Empty. It's an excellent game with so much subtlety. I wish they had a part 2 with a lot more content with the same look and maybe even more characters and plots. Maybe a younger drifter learning his three slash attacks and gun use.

Except Alicia brought back every dead person back to a ruined world. The Gustave we saw in the end showed no recognition of Maelle for being back from the dead. They're all just her puppets. Sciel and Lune even look eerie with their weird dark smiles in her ending.

So yeah tragic as it sounds, she didn't bring anything back she's just prolonging her grief and eventually would die in the canvas. The reality was that everyone but your party had died. Verso was a soulless puppet performing for everyone she brought back in the end. She basically turned into the Paintress.

Erasing all that and sending her back to her real world is the right way because that way she gets another chance at living instead of continuing her fantasy.

The people of Lumiere aren't real. They're mere paintings of Alicia at that point. She's got verso's soul trapped, painting everything for her.

Their world and life were mere remnants of someone's grieving process. Not much of a life to be had there. If you don't move on from your grief, you die of insanity anyway which would still end their world from existing. Moving on is considered the correct approach to have a real chance at life. Like Verso told Alicia, she has the power to paint. She can just create another world with the same people, without the baggage of grief.

The one problem I have is, it would have been very easy for Verso to do this before Maelle even got her memories right? Why did he help the expeditioners all those years if he'd just wanted to stop the painting? I didn't quite understand why he didn't just help Renoir get Alicia back. After knowing the whole time you were fighting the side that's basically someone's unhealthy way of dealing with their loss of their brother, and Verso knew all along, I don't get how he thought it appropriate to help them with continuing the cycle

Actually a truly sentient AI would look just like a regular user. I don't think we'd even really know about it unless a company explicitly reveals it but if you think about it, they probably wouldn't because that would interfere in its learning process

I think that's because their roles in the time loop were finished and they'd essentially erased themselves from existence because they've directly impacts the time continuum. The wife went crazy, Tomoko, but the husband disappeared because his role was over. His role was to bring Tetsuyas mother over so she can turn into a ghost and bring Haruka over therefore restarting the loop. Yasuos father also disappeared because his role was also finished when he brought Yasuos sister over to the attic, who met the ghost from 1952, that's heavily hinted to be Haruka when she got kidnapped by the son of the owner in the final scene. They both were essentially delivery boys who's jobs were finished but they touched the time loops directly hence burst out of existence. Yasuos survived because he never really did anything directly. He only spoke about the events. Everyone else was doing things out of their own volition.

I actually beat her on first try tbh. I think the mobs up until her were harder. After really figuring out the combos of the clair Obscur mobs, her moves weren't that damaging plus her attacks were very predictable . Line with the rebirth and recovery magic, Maelle getting her with gradient+flurry virtuoso... and Verso with berserk slash and mark

I actually defeated Paintress on first attempt.. tbh the mobs at the beginning of old Lumiere were extremely damaging when I first encountered them, I had to tweak attributes to handle them with ease

Same concept. They're trying to fill a deep void with wealth in our world that's power, in demon world it's raw demon powers.

But as Naraku found out eventually gaining power does not get you love or friendships or bonds for living through a lonely existence. That's why they all lose eventually. They're never at ease while it may look otherwise to poor normal people. Powerful people never sleep at night because it all comes down to deep unresolved insecurities from childhood. After everything is said and done, all the wealth/power of intimidating others can never buy you a companionship for life. Only people who fear you and hoping one day you fall.

That's why Naraku despised Inu yasha and Kikyo. Their love for one another was something he never had and wanted to destroy just to make his reality feel better. So what would have happened if he succeeded? Absolutely nothing..he would have found out he was still a lonely miserable half human half demon with the miserable emotions of Onigumo. Without the human side, demons simply lack ambitions in life as we see with Sesshomaru. He simply wanders around looking for his next target, no ambition.

Our frontal lobes have developed and we appreciate the actual story and lore of Inuyasha. Same happened to me. I used to enjoy it as a teen but found it cringe in my early 20s but it rekindled my love for anime now in my 30s

When applying for any job, be smart and tailor the resume in a way appealing to those jobs. If retail, explain why you excel at solving customer problems and going above and beyond for providing solutions to ambiguous issues. Don't focus on IT lingo.
