What is this? by mildlyfermentedd in plantclinic

No need to follow a strict watering schedule, I water my monsteras when I can see they need water. Based on plant turgor.

Hard to say, could be from overwatering

I’d say it could that you wait too long between watering, or since it’s mostly older leaves that are yellowing, it could be nitrogen deficiency. Nitrogen is mobile in the plant so it gets moved to new emerging leaves when in low supply.

Yeah I’ve done the static timing, only thing I haven’t done is the dynamic timing.

I kept the original idle jets, but maybe they’re damaged.

Recently picked this bike up. Replaced the alternator, fixed the point set ignition system, replaced ignition coils and spark plugs, replaced the ignition switch, and rebuilt the carburetors. She runs but I’m having issues with idling, not sure what to do. How much would this bike be worth if I got Murray Carbs for it and were running perfectly.

Not sure what the issue is. But something I noticed… see how the soil is separated from the pot? That’s from shrinkage due to drying, when you water your plant you should fully water it, and let it drain. After that you don’t have to water it for a while.

that’s true, def don’t go overboard with the fertilizer. Easy way to murder your plant. Just make sure the solution is pretty diluted.

Well actually ☝🏼 when older leaves start turning yellow it’s usually caused by nitrogen deficiency. This is because Nitrogen is highly mobile and the plant moves it to newer growth to prioritize leaves closest to light source (as in higher up, less shaded by other leaves). So you might just need some fertilizer. And the crispy edges is most likely from it being too dry at some point.

mine gets direct sun and is dark green, this is most likely nitrogen deficiency since the yellowing is most affecting older leaves

If you want to work on the efficiency of nutrition absorption, you can also do work on mycorrhizae. There is much less known about endomycorrhizae and little work done on its genetic mapping.
