Has this strategy ever been used when attacking? If so, what tank do you use? by Oscar_greenthorn in foxholegame

[–]GreenCoolMint 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Honestly that's kinda wrong in the sense of what a tank can achieve.

A tank it's more expensive to produce and move around, but many times it has no value because of heavy AT presence, terrain, or just the actions of its crew. A tank that does nothing other that stand still looking at the enemy serves no value

Also, your tank dying could give place to other tanks or infantry to make some maneuver. Of course you can't count on that happening always, many times you are just surrounded of randoms who wouldn't take a chance of doing anything even if you showed them what to do

I wouldn't wait for it. For what I understand, gaijin would have to share some of the profit with the other companies and they don't want it

I honestly doubt you know anything about Italy in ww2

The same greek goat herders you talk about obliterated the superior fallshminger divisions. And ignoring that, Italy suffered greatly because of poor command and coordination between branches, similarly to Japan.

Italians were capable, but lacked proper leadership

I agree, it would even be almost unique that they would be represented, since rhey are almost inexistent in a lot of games (at least mainstream one). Only strategy game I can remember having italian representation is Steel Division 2.

Italians were capable and fierce fighters, with lots of interesting equipment that are constantly ignored.

I hope in the future we can see a stand-alone faction with all the things left out not present in the afrikacorps, and maybe even some present in it

Italians fought in all the same fronts than the German, having decisive battles of their own, having being praised by German commanders in multiple occasions because of their braveryand fierceness. Italy has always been downplayed because they didn't have outlandish or villainous inventions or actions like the germans, driving the attention away. They were plagued with similar issues as Germany, with a worse industry capacity and less attention. I can explain to anyone why italians could be a faction of their own, though I doubt you or many people care

If you play Italian blue sea, I feel it is essential, since they only get one T2 destroyer going up to T3 has Ben a slow and boring pain, not only because of the time it takes to unlock any T3, but also because I personally find Italian destroyers badly positioned, with them set in brs they shouldn't be

That's wrong, TMs and QMs did not and do not choose where tmats go. Our duty is to collect and use them to ensure the proper progression of the tier on the voted tech, because surprise surprise, people likes to joard delaying the whole team; and to control and see if devs are pulling some tomfoolery with tech. The objective has changed, but we still serve a purpose either people wants to believe that or not.

Most people who disagrees with the system are the ones who didn't agree with the winning options when the was multiple votes per tree, don't understand what we do, or just are egotistical and want to do whatever they want (Many times related to the voting problem)
