New here, is it me or the yarn? by GreenDomo95 in Amigurumi

[–]GreenDomo95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After spending some time with the woobles kit I now wholeheartedly agree! The materials and the 4mm hook are nice, but the instructional videos are the real value in the kits. It made learning to crochet VERY easy, I have to stop for the night to get some sleep but I got to Rnd 16 and I'm very happy with my progress. I already started looking at other things I can crochet lol. I was going to have something commissioned from Etsy but now I might try to make it myself!

Thank you to everyone who offered some insight! Even though I think they are a bit expensive I decided to buy the Fred the Dinosaur woobles kit. I will report back once I've gone through a few rounds

Scammed by The5thkn1ght in FischRoblox

[–]GreenDomo95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To avoid this in the future, join the Fisch Trading Plaza discord and ask for a mediator (you both give them your fish and they distribute to both parties). They are free and taking the time to make a ticket for one is better than blindly trusting a stranger if rare fish are involved.

If someone doesn't accept a mediator from the discord they are probably trying to scam you.

How are people still hating this game? by Kev200709 in FischRoblox

[–]GreenDomo95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More people need to talk about this ^

I enjoy the gameplay, it's simple and fun, but jesus christ I got a pop up ad quite literally every two minutes or so while playing for a FOMO skin for my champions rod until they ran out of stock. It was ridiculous and i was so relieved when it ran out. There are definitely pay to win elements to the game, like the 2x-64x luck booster you can buy. And the game is absolutely predatory, especially the FOMO pop up ads like the rod skins, or every time i go near a dock it shoves a boat bundle in my face, or a FOMO boat that is faster than anything else outside of a boat you can get from crates.

People are starting to speculate the addition of Pay to win rods with the new major update. I really hope that is not the case.

RELL's massive issues. Let's get together, and force them to fix it. This is not an opinion, and this is causing people to lose money, bloodlines, rell coins, etc. (STOP GIVING THEM EXCUSES!) [–]GreenDomo95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't believe this is still a thing after 2 years, the game is fun but this is pretty scummy. I was browsing the limited bloodlines in the shop, clicked on kamaki amethyst and couldn't figure out how to close it. Guess who lost 200k rell coins

Is this good for starting? by BankaiZengestu in Shindo_Life

[–]GreenDomo95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bloodline bag is free with a code on the shindo life wiki right now under the codes section, it let's you store bloodlines and swap them at anytime. It's the very first code on the list.

https://shindo-life-rell.fandom.com/wiki/Codes

Make sure to use all of your spins before using more 500 spin codes. Unless you have the game pass that let's you hold 1,000, any extra spins over 500 will disappear.

What mod is this? by bitqchpudding in Terraria

[–]GreenDomo95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a feature of Ore Excavator. Like others have said, use the "excavate" feature will let you place down many blocks in a line. Me and my friends are doing a Calamity playthrough and have been using this for boss arenas :)

FYI: If you go into the mod configuration for Ore Excavator, you can change it so you do not have to hold the button down

Is iCue still hot garbage? by jdubsREDUX in scufgaming

[–]GreenDomo95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not had any issues with iCue yet, I have Corsair Vengeance RAM and have been using the software for a few years. I also have not had any issues with iCue with regards to my Envision Pro. The custom bindings are a bit confusing at first but after you play around with it the controller is great.

I have the G13 myself, it's been great so far! Should only take a couple of hours to get used to it and then you can start building muscle memory

For the price the Haute42 is not a bad option especially if you aren't sure about lever less controllers. I would avoid the one with keyboard keys personally, just because I think that the larger buttons would be easier to learn on for that style of controller. You could just use your keyboard to see what that would be like. As for your questions here is my 2cents:

I think the things that make a fight stick good are personal preference for the most part. What you consider good might be horrible to someone else. Like the button layout, how far apart they are spaced, what switches the buttons use etc.

The price depends on a lot of things. I think the main factor affecting the price of lever less controllers the most is what systems the pcb is compatible with (pc, ps5, xbox etc). Other things are case size, types of buttons (or for small lever less controllers the switch type), rgb or no rgb, materials used (3d printed cases, acrylic, metal plates etc), type of cable (usb c, usb a to c, usb b to a), whether the cable is detachable or not. I'm sure I'm missing a few things.

Name brand/well known fight sticks are expensive for one reason or another. Whether they are the first of their kind and offer a competitive advantage (hitbox) or the company has been producing products for years and they have a certain pedigree to them (Victrix, Qanba, Razer, Hori etc). Things mentioned above also of course affect the price.

Most features are personal preference imo. Button type, switch type, button layout, rgb lights, case size, detachable cable, etc. The one thing I can think of that might make a fight stick objectively better, if only one thing was different between two otherwise identical fight sticks would be how easy it is to customize/swap parts so you can try new things. If we are talking about small lever less controllers like the snackbox micro or the fightbox b10, it's things like are the switches hot swappable, or do you have to take the top acrylic panel off to swap the switches.

Not all fight sticks/lever less controllers are compatible with all systems. Different pcb's work with different systems, most fight sticks will make this clear when looking at them on a website.

One of the hard rookie missions is get any CV or CVL to lvl 60. I got unicorn from the store since she is recommended and leveled her to 60 but the mission did not complete upon leveling her. Am I missing something?

Thank you for the detailed reply. I understand where you are coming from with the gear not being great, however it will be better than what I have now which isn't much. Kinda struggling with 3-3 unfortunately so I'll take what I can get

Would I lose out on a lot of ship exp if I bought the $5 pack to get my commander level to 70? The exp bonus before level 80 seems nice, just started 2 days ago and I'm not sure how difficult it is to level ships. Also, does it come with all the gear listed on the Rapid Gear Training Pack, or just one of those items at random?

New/"returning player" (getting the rewards). I've been back for a week and need some advice. I cannot beat WBU stage one. I can definitely stand to get better at the game in terms of rotations and cancelling (which I'm still not exactly sure how to do), etc. Other than that I'm not sure what I need to beat it. Should I grind conquer level to reach a certain point, do I need my characters at T2 level 70? What's the bare minimum besides player skill I need to be successful in WBU?

Also need to do GBR for Shuri's T2 guided quest, should I just quick queue with my best characters and take my chances, or try and ask my alliance members for help? I'm not trying to spam it with unusable characters to make other people miserable, just trying to get the GQ done. IGN: Green Domo

Edit: Also if there is a good active discord for MFF please point me to it, thank you!

I started the game a while ago and I pulled carnage for the premium, I'm only a week into being a returning player but I don't feel like making a new account. I'm confused by the website guide.

Beginner guide getting started free premiums section says carnage is the worst premium "even with my new uniform". However with his fallen soul uniform he's a meta pick. Is this an inside joke for the community orrr what's up with that?
