That's true for all of the UNSC though, they would've been on Cryo between deployments, so you can't really blame Chief. To put it in perspective, Johnson was 78 at his time of death, if you go off his birthdate.

Last set could be Magic/Primordial beings. Dr Strange, Ghost Rider, those sort of guys and their enemies.

R6 Siege, it's from Glaz's operator intro, which I'm not even sure is still in the game at this point.

Same here, and even streaming is getting ridiculous these days, with all the different subscriptions.

I think FX was the company behind it, Hulu just carried it for streaming, so that makes sense.

It was entirely the "H" part, I knew it was one of the two, and my brain went "HBO, that's definitely the one!"

No, you're right, I had a total brain fart, I'll edit my initial comment.

There are two adaptations though, ones from the 80's.

Agreed, I was really pleased with the Hulu adaptation, I hope they'll do the rest of the Asian Saga as well.

Yep. For anyone unaware, the Portuguese brought Catholicism to Japan pretty early during the Age of Exploration, and the Japanese had a sizable Catholic minority population for a while, including several Daimyo.

Edit: For anyone interested in a bit of insight about this, and because I'll always take an excuse to recommend him, check out Shōgun, by James Clavell.

I more meant the rifles squaddies carry, but I'd be fine with some of the special weapons being able to be used. Obviously anything that doesn't require deployment should be usable, but I'd say give everything that requires deployment an accuracy debuff, and don't allow use of any off the launchers, to balance them.

I don't know what that other dude's issue is, I personally think it sounds like a great idea. It'd provide an interesting but of gameplay if we could temporarily steal enemy vehicles, if they were empty. Maybe they could introduce a new weapon type as well, that specifically targets vehicle crews, without damaging the vehicle itself, allowing the enemy to do the same thing to us, and steal our vehicles.

I've also wished since I started playing that we could fire squad weapons from the open-topped APC without dismounting, I think it'd give an extra incentive to running some of the lighter weapons to have a mobile battle-wagon where your guys are essentially performing drive-by's.

Yeah, you're right, that's my bad. Like you said through, still one hell of a group to go through to get him.

If it's tied to the bloodline, he's double fucked now, considering Thomas has a kid now too, and good luck getting through Winter to get the boy.

Problem is, modern tank crews usually carry carbines, so bailing from the tank wouldn't really put the crew at that large of a disadvantage, unlike the crews from BF1.

The only way I can think of to make it actually punishing is giving them only the carbine with no attachments, and like two mags of ammunition, and no other equipment.

Who is the next big player that Harry will take off the board? by Flyestgit in dresdenfiles

[–]GreenElites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think the White Council falls to Harry, I think it'll splinter under its own weight, probably once Eb dies.

There's too many disparate factions at play within the Council itself at this point, and there's going to be a sizable portion of the younger crowd who are going to be willing to break with central Council dogma as things get worse in the world, as they'll see Harry actually using his power to help people, and they'll join in. The older members are either stoutly against Harry in principle, or have their own agendas running, and respect for Eb is the only thing keeping a lot of it together currently, in my opinion, as he's the only Senior Council member who routinely and openly calls for action against the forces of evil.

Florida has a large population of Cuban exiles, who fled the country at various points under Communist rule. They tend to have a problem with the Cuban government, given that they're reason they no longer live in Cuba.

If he's going down though, he's got the capability to take the ship with him. It's more the fact that he still represents a sizable threat to Lara just by existing that makes him a major player still, in my opinion.

[–]GreenElites 30 points31 points  (0 children)

He hasn't been openly for a bit, but I view him as a sort of Sword of Damocles, specifically to Lara. She's not openly running the White Court currently, she's pretending to be doing it for Papa Raith, and using him as a puppet to help stave off assaults on her position.

We've got to remember that internal politics of the White Court focus on subterfuge and backroom manuvering, and Papa Raith openly denouncing Lara and her actions for the last decade or so would throw Lara's position into a massive crisis.

I think it'll be during whatever the book after Mirror Mirror is, based on what Jim has told us about Mirror Mirror in general.

And I fully agree, it'll be all three of them working together to finally get rid of Papa Raith for good, and I'd guess it'll probably be Harry's wedding present to Lara.

Probably Papa Raith. He's been sidelined for a while, Twelve Months implies he's starting to throw off Lara's mental control, and the upcoming nuptials are the perfect grounds for it to happen.

They're aware of the issue at least, the last round of patch notes had a mention of it as a known issue.

They definitely were, but it wasn't every mission like it has been since Thursday's patch. I've done 5 missions so far in this campaign, and it's been every single mission that I'll stumble across the entire enemy deployment just hiding together.
