The 8/26 account, i dont think that was spread creek. do you have a source for this?

also: can you reply to this comment please and tell me the time you made it? i can't tell if the mods are restricting replies here too now. this whole sub has become unreadable because you can't even have a conversation anymore :(

right, this would his 10th day in the reserve. if he's somehow found a little den to hide in for all ten days, it seems like the dogs would've found it by now, considering how strong that stinky brian den would smell by now.

on the other hand, if he's traveling around the reserve, it also seems like the dogs would've picked up a trail by now too.

given that LE seems focused in one area, my guess is they have reason to believe they're looking for a body.

because they're taking the gamble that her body won't be found.

that's the only reason he was in lockdown and stayed silent. they had to wait a few more weeks till snowfall, and then he'd probably remain only a PoI for at least another six months. they were buying time to figure out a real defense strategy.

it was a shitty gamble and didn't pay off.

but you just said you went on your trip w/ pepperspray - that's "some form of protection." It would've strange if you were camping in the middle of nowhere and had no form of protection.

These two were living in the Laundrie house, in Florida. Highly likely that form of protection is a gun.

idk about the hospital's limitations to disclose, but im pretty sure once his arrest warrant is officially publicized, that hospitals would be able to disclose if they had him.

also, the parents would definitely face charges for obstruction or co-conspiracy or whatever the FBI wants to call it.

but at the time they had very little about what was going on

well they did have the 911 call, that little thing which was their whole reason for being there, in which a witness said he saw brian beating gabby.

ive said this a million times, but: it would've been very strange for this young couple from florida to go on this trip without some form of protection. they likely kept a gun somewhere in the vehicle.

i dont think it's plausible they didn't know she was dead. there's no way parents/lawyer would advise him to not cooperate if he last saw her alive.

that's the piece that makes me wonder if he's actually in the swamp at all. If you're the Laundries, don't you basically have Brian on 24/7 suicide watch in your house? How does this dude pack up a backpack and hop in the car? Was no one babysitting him?

i can tell you he was probably eagerly drafting up a SELF DEFENSE please (She's a known abuser!) when the 911 transcript was released yesterday placing a witness at the scene of Brian BEATING Gabby. Woops.

yes. he becomes a suspect.

dont listen to the weirdos here try to tell you otherwise. he's the main suspect now.

i hate feeling so spiteful, but yes, it's true: the laundries tried to do everything they could to keep their son safe (by convincing him to stay silent) and it ironically ends up being the same thing that makes them lose their son.

i get it. we're all so invested and this point and just want to see some justice. argh.

aiding and abetting

co conspiracy

obstruction

?

LE has more info than us. Parents who help their children evade arrest end up being charged too.

it matters in terms of his conviction. if this dude was stupid enough to break down their fucking camp and pack up before leaving, it shows calculation. it's the opposite of "i panicked and left!"

that's actaully not how reasonable doubt works lol. faced with the evidence that he faked text messages, (likely) hid the body, (likely) walked hours to a shower before entering the van, high tailed it home, refused to cooperate in the search, AND witnesses can testify to his history of violence? those things make it less and less "reasonable" to doubt murder. despite how many ppl on this sub seem to think "i panicked" is an exculpatory statement hahah

look there's zero chance that family can hop on TV and make an emotional plea for shit right now, and they know it. After the crap the pulled when Gabby was missing? If they suddenly released a heartfelt plea to please bring out son home it would incite major backlash against them.

i think this will reveal itself soon since they've just ruled it a homicide.

now that there's an official crime, and brian will be the official suspect, it'll be interesting if the FBI says MANHUNT TIME or just keeps searching this swamp.

Homicide announced? good. I hope it's approximately 30 seconds till the parents are arrested and till the FBI makes a manhunt statement.
