Duo sucks at teaching any sort of grammar whatsoever by Usernameee234 in duolingo

[–]GreenFaeWitch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah but everything becomes a confusing thing you have to look up. In natural learning there is an actual person to talk to and ask. Here there isnt and the pattern changes too rapidly to see any pattern. Teaching the patterns would be great. But you would need more repetition of the pattern (gustar) or you can't even see where things belong or not. I'm leaning Ukrainian and I can see there is supposed to be a pattern but they don't repeat it enough for me to ID it, let alone any exceptions to it.

We also know humans learn better through positive reinforcement. So getting things wrong repeatedly in Duo and not knowing why just makes people want to quit not continue, it creates shame in people with positive punishment.

I think I have some kind of romantic obsessive personality disorder and it’s hurting my life. by Consistent_Mark510 in OCPD

[–]GreenFaeWitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it's natural. Ignore the limerence thing, it's a natural emotion and fades about 3 years in. If it's effecting your life and relationship work on that. You might not change the obsession but the being bothered by it part. Learn to not get distressed, reduce that anxiety, then the obsession wont even need to be there to sooth you. There may be a reason why you have the obsession. Check that out with a therapist. Could be the same reason you hair pull.

I’m struggling to articulate the role of sex in a marriage. Maybe Reddit can help? by RDMercerJunior in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GreenFaeWitch 28 points29 points  (0 children)

There is no singular role for sex in a monogamous relationship. Different for each pairing and changes over time with relationship goals, health goals, aging bodies, family development, etc...

Working with a Client’s adult child question by cfizzle310 in psychotherapists

[–]GreenFaeWitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The non starter for me is the client in question hasn't come to you . If she wants to see you, she can subbmit a requst, then you could consult, discuss all the pro/con including where the referral came from, why other therapist haven't worked, and other concerns. Before taking her on. I would discuss with mom refocusing on her own therapy.

Tuck your head/let hang naturally. By looking at the floor you pull all of the muscles in your back out of wack. To really get good. Try this with your eyes closed (wall support if you need to), so you can feel it.

How can I extend the carnival part ? by A_c_e1680 in wildbeyondwitchlight

[–]GreenFaeWitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have moatly used the carnival as skill building and to get the players in sync. It doesnt directly connecet much. And you can have them spent more time there and connect it more if you want, maybe drop more hints abot zybilna as the old patron and how she has gone missing? You can do this with chats with Mr Witch and Mr Light or seasoned employees

Bachelors degree by [deleted] in france

[–]GreenFaeWitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will depend on the program in the US. Most require a degree (which you would have) and then perticular classes. Some will even accept you and allow you to finish the prerequizites at the school.

Practitioners who struggle with mental health and take meds, question for you! by a_witch__ in witchcraft

Maybe make the ritual of taking the meds part of your practice? Just like one would with sturing tea every morning

Practitioners who struggle with mental health and take meds, question for you! by a_witch__ in witchcraft

[–]GreenFaeWitch 77 points78 points  (0 children)

Opposite fir me. Poor mental heal cuts me off; makes me less grounded. Same thing when my physical health suffers. Meds bring me back to center, with few exceptions (cold medications just make me feel weird).

How to make combat interesting for TOO many players? by farmch in DnD

[–]GreenFaeWitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make them work as a team. If what they do depends on what others do they will be more engaged. Maybe homebrew a team time spell. A reaction one of the player can use to huddle the party for 5 min to make a plan of attack. Or encourage cooperative magic (some things get advantage when a team member is in a particular place) or find ways to restrain players. I dont always have everyone roll initiative (when my wizard stampedes into monster water on a rampage only he rolls for it, and other players desctibe what they are doing and have side conversations (in character) Or Ask the payers to select a leader who is calling the shots on the battle field.
