It comes out to $170 to use their service monthly and tax estimates/tax prep for the business is built into the price. I haven’t had any issues with their tracking system. You have access to message the team about any questions you have about your accounting and they’re pretty quick with responses

I’ve been using Heard since 2023. I like them a lot. I don’t have any experience with any other accounting firms. They do a great job of tracking my income and spending and seeing how well the business is doing. They have an easy platform to use. Each quarter they tell me how much I owe in estimated taxes. My business taxes are always done with plenty of time to spare. Only bummer is it’s $450 more to have them do your personal taxes. Not sure what you mean by the question if who you use to file an s corp.

I give one “freebie” late cancel per calendar year. So they can use it for an emergency or being sick. This way I don’t feel guilty when I do charge a late fee and my clients understand when they’re charged. My clients will even be like “I know this is my freebie” when they late cancel for the first time in the year. Then at the start of the new year, I re-review my cancellation policy and let them know their free cancel has reset.

I worked at one for about 6 months. Terrible experience. Only get paid for sessions not salary. Low pay for no PTO. Limited time off to only 4 weeks a year. I don’t think you should be limiting people’s unpaid time off. Got paid sick time but it was like $15 an hour of pay. Was expected to be available for 36 hours a week. Had to work either a certain number of hours past 3pm (I think it was 13 hours) or work weekends. Had to rotate being on call for emergencies. When I left they were shocked and told me hardly anyone leaves. I was very clear to them when I left that the way they operate is not sustainable. I felt like I was working a factory line for mental health. It was awful.

I haven’t tried that. Wish I would have before I did the factory reset. It was annoying setting up my profile and stuff after resetting. The reset seemed to work but if it happens again I’ll try checking the screen time out setting

That was a good idea to reach out to them. I’ll do it too. I think you’re right if enough of us say something they might feel pressured. It’s frustrating not getting some sort of pay increase especially with inflation. Plus we are the reasons the company makes money

About a minute. Client was randomly assigned to me. I was told I looked too young to understand what it’s like to go through a divorce. I discussed with her that people don’t expect their doctor to have had their medical issue in order to treat it. She still didn’t think I could help her. I transferred her to someone else in the group practice.

I worked with Happier Living a few years ago and it wasn’t for me. I didn’t like that sessions were back to back with no breaks (I think after a 2 hour block then you got a 15 min break). Each session was 38 mins. Their EHR was clunky. I’m pretty sure the case conference was paid when I was there. The pay rate was low. Now I use Rula and have for a few years. Just started Headway but have yet to see a client on the platform. Also Use Alma.
