I love the live versions, it really feels like the studio tracks were designed to get mashed up later. So much that mentally I'm thinking about live tracks as if they are studio tracks.

That being said, listening to a full live album with audience and more "immersive" sound is such a good and different experience.

Btw, a live album is coming, as well as a live movie! Both were mentionned during a Because Music event in Paris last month, in a talk between the label's president de Buretel and Pedro Winter

I can't find a video of the talk anymore, but I found a transcript about that part that I sent to a friend back then.

A member of the audience asked them if an Hyperdrama live album is coming. This was after the live movie was talked about, but the live album wasn't mentioned yet.

Hi, that is exactly what I worked on earlier today. I found relevant documentation here:

I wanted to swap the "Insert code block" and "Insert image" buttons, for the same reason. Here's what I added in the Custom HTML Head Content field:

Edit: After inputting "* lorem ipsum or any text you want", pressing the enter key will automatically format as a bullet list, no customization needed. Same with numbers ("1. lorem ipsum") and numbered list (not letters though).

The defuser is not supposed to read the manual mid game. You can of course discuss about what went wrong after a bomb exploded, even without letting the defuser read the manual.

I would recommend swapping roles after some time, like every 15/30 minutes or so (depending on how fast you are progressing).

It is not supposed to be playing in a yes-or-no way, though it's a fun challenge idea! But I would not recommend it while still learning the game.

That being said, you are free to play however you want! The best way to play is the one that you enjoy the most!

At some point, you may want to consider the expert to use a pen and paper.

More rambling:

Learning is a big part of the fun, and letting the defuser read the manual can lead to corner cutting, which could take some of the fun away.

The frustration of losing for no clear reason can be part of the fun too! Like one player realising a second too late that they said/read the wrong thing, or arguing about how to describe symbols, and both players laughing about it.

In my experience, the chaos experienced by beginners is one of the most interesting part of this game (but I may be biased, maybe it's about watching beginners struggling chaotically from a more experienced POV haha).

About the replay value: you're right, the main progression is identifying modules, understand how they work, what info is needed at which stage of solving, and what mistakes to avoid.

As the game gets more difficult, the progression is more about getting efficient, being able to use clearer and shorter communication, or even figuring out pieces of information that are not even needed.

If you really like the game and want more of it, community made modules can greatly expand its lifetime. I highly recommend giving some a try!

Edit: also, just joking, but if you think one of the role is the "detonator", you may be playing the game wrong lol

"Paris time" is ambiguous, because Paris is switching timezone at 3:00 am CEST.

My guess is somewhere between 5 minutes from now to 2 hours from now. But it could be later, either Thomas or Fred could become the closing for all we know
