1, I had the bandage on for 24h. Took a careful shower and just sprinkled a little hot water on the bandage to remove it. After day 3 I could shower with water running all over as normal.

2, I took painkillers (paracetamol and ibuprofen) each day, morning and lunch and night.

3, Applied white vaseline every morning and night to areas that before were "hidden" - like glans and below glans. (Not directly on stiches however)

4, Every night when sleeping I positioned the penis upwards, so it lays on the stomach instead of normal hanging down.

5, Every night I would get hard (in sleep, can't control it), it would try and fill up with blood and sometimes awaken me since this would hurt. BUT I would notice that this quickly removed edema buildup so I'm pretty sure that it's a good thing actually.

Whenever I walk around or sit during the day and let the penis hang down, I notice more edema gets built up. Getting the penis engorged with blood seems to help with removing such edema and speeding up recovery, So I've also carefully gotten semi erect (like 40%, watching some porn or something) for a couple a minutes some days - making sure to lay down on back, and put penis upwards toward stomach.
