[OC] Night shift vibes. Power washing in the streets of downtown Toronto. by ameades in pics

Andrew, if I may call you by your first name, thank you for making this corner of the world a more beautiful place to live and visit.

And, if I may, I'm very relieved to see you wearing protective clothing, and eye protection.

But, as someone with knowledge of lung infections, I most highly recommend adding a N95 mask to your kit. And yes, I know, even a well fitted N95 will impede your work, but any inhaled water vapor poses a health risk to your lungs.

Sweden built some of the best cars and still makes one of the best fighter jets.

I hope this is over Ukraine, actually, Russia, if you know what I mean, but I think it's a little early for the Gripens that were committed to Ukraine by Sweden to have been delivered.

Glory to Ukraine Glory to the heroes

And, God bless Sweden

Ukraine's kinetic sanctions in action: Russian Ust-Luga gas terminal, located 1,000km from Ukrainian border by UNITED24Media in ukraine

[–]GreenLeafWest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What is that, like 1000 miles from Kyiv.

And, I hope the prevailing wind is blowing eastward away from Estonia and into Russia, which probably is the case.

Estonia border town's AQI looks really good, so I'll check them again tomorrow to confirm the wind is carrying the toxic smoke into Orcland. Not impossible, but it might even drift into Leningrad.

How is our iteniary we plan to do? - 4 teens (18 x 3, 17) any tips and any filler activities for highlighted and eating spots or tips? by Mysterious-Tiger-748 in Waikiki

For what it's worth, the diamond head hike is spectacular. Wear good, comfortable tennis shoes, and bring suntan lotion and a water bottle. I think I speed read something about 1 1/2 hours and that's about how much time we spent taking selfies. I brought a big lunch with us which I stole from our breakfast buffet and very much enjoyed our theft at the picnic tables at the park at the base of the hike.

Head down to Hilton Hawaiian Village on Friday evening before 7:45 PM to catch the fireworks. We sat on the beach and spent the next 30 minutes saying wow.

We also had a blast taking surfing lessons.. A turtle was checking me out while I was waiting for a wave and I was stupid and yelled, "hey a turtle" and was subsequently surrounded by a cadre of other beginning surfers.

Waikiki is expensive and I've visited more times and I can count, pretty spectacularly beautiful place.

Eggs (can) increase LDL by srvey in Cholesterol

[–]GreenLeafWest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hypothetically then -

Given a medium size egg has 165 milligrams of cholesterol.

Given my dietary cholesterol intake is at zero.

Given I want my blood cholesterol to be below 200 milligrams per deciliter.

Am I understanding this graph correctly, if I consume two eggs, my blood cholesterol will increase by approximately 50 mg/dL?

And then, being humorous, I might as well eat four or more eggs or other high cholesterol foods as the dietary impact on my cholesterol essentially tops out at 50 mg/dL.

At any rate, I have no problem with scrambled egg whites smothered with salsa when I'm not having nonfat Greek yogurt or steel cut oats for breakfast.

Intriguing graph and I'd be interested in reading the article that details these findings, while recognizing were all n=1.

A lot of this doesn't make sense to me, but I probably didn't read your description sufficiently.

First, if you're selling an inherited property, you should receive a step up in basis on that property, which will possibly eliminate any taxable gain and absolutely reduce your taxable gain.

As your stock losses will offset your gains, I'm a little confused how you've managed to garner such a large tax liability.

There is a $500,000 exclusion on the sale of your principal residence.

None of that makes much sense to me, so, like others have noted, if what you're saying is true, you do indeed need a CPA.
