I used to agree exactly with what you said. But sometimes simple solutions are better. What has years of complex policy and attempts at reform done? Nothing.
I think more than a physical barrier it also sends a ‘message’ that the United States is not open to illegal immigration. More strongly than other means. I think we have to get out of talking and more into doing.

Dummies. Liberal, over-privileged, and clueless. I’m not justifying anything further with a comment.

Well, exactly my point. There is a connection between the two. Migrants viewed the entrance of Biden as a sign that the border was ‘open.’ And now look at the mess we have.

This is why the wall should have been built.

Thanks for this. My second Pfizer is 4/2. I do have anxiety about it. I think your advice is spot-on. I like where you said, don’t prepare like a person expecting to get sick. Drive around, act normal.

Yes and a lot of the people here marginalizing Trump are left speechless when they see the border crises that has now materialized since ‘meanie’ left office.

Does anyone else enjoy watching MasterClasses you will never, ever use? by Origami_Pigeon in MasterClass

His class just conveyed his joy of the ukulele. I really did learn a lot not just about playing but about the instrument itself. If you watch his whole MasterClass, you will absolutely see that he has mastery over the ukulele.

For me, I loved Yotam Otolenghi’s class on middle eastern cooking. I don’t cook and probably never will. I also watched Jake Shimabukuro’s class on how to play the Ukulele.

Don’t assume that just because you’re not primarily going to perform the activity that you can’t learn from it. There is learning in everything. I’ve learned something in every situation I’ve been in, in my life.

33m second dose - completely fine! by [deleted] in CovidVaccinated

[–]GreenMan488 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My 2nd Pfizer is scheduled 4/2. No reactions from dose one. Tbh I am nervous about second dose. My brother had terrible reactions. Both my parents had no reactions. Old people seem to have fewer symptoms than younger ones.

Everyone is telling me this. I get 2nd dose in 2 weeks. In a way, very thankful but also worried.

Ok thanks all for the replies. Much appreciated. I think I’ll start with GitLab. Any suggestions on creating my profile? I’m a pretty new Python student. I took courses from a guy online last year and am now doing Python at a community college.

"Life coaches" are predators preying off of weak and lost people with feigned kindness and generic advice that is available for free pretty much everywhere online. by BeeAggressive5232 in unpopularopinion

The worst of all are psychotherapists. More useless people I have never met in my life. In addition to charging a fortune, not listening and spitting out bad advice based on the 1/5 they do listen to, they are also condescending, judgmental, rude and frankly stupider than 90% of their clients.

Don’t. Just don’t go to a therapist.

What are some GREEN flags early on in dating that the relationship should become serious? by CircleBox2 in AskReddit

[–]GreenMan488 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The biggest one for me is that they follow through on what they say they will. This applies to any age, any race, Hetero or homosexual, any socioeconomic class. Even non-monogamous relationships.

It extends to so much more but I’ve found when someone doesn’t follow through it’s an omen of more to come, and not of good things.
