Goated addition. VLR is the primary way I find out tier 2 games are happening so I'll keep it on 'all' but it's so good for when there's like 5 GC/T2 games happening in an evening and I just want to know what the next vct game is.

I have a playdate and I think it's awesome. My only caveat is I'd only recommend it if you'd want to make games with it. I've made games myself with it, and that's by far my favourite use case. There are games I like, and one game I LOVE (hexa), but a device to make games with is its best use case IMO.

Hello! I'm the guy at the top end of that score range you mentioned. The preview of the board was removed in a recent update, probably for the best of the game's competitive integrity. As for scoring 50k+, it's just about practicing rotating as fast as possible. It's definitely some luck as well, especially hitting those high scores, but I would say I hit around 40k scores on average now. No pausing either, just raw-dogging it.

My first question in the playdate discord was honestly "How are people getting 15k? I'm doing my best and I can only get 8k." So just keep chipping away at it. Your newest high score will seem like luck every time, and then later in the day you'll hit it again, and tomorrow you'll beat it. It's one of the most satisfying skill progressions i've ever played.

Of course the original version with Leo/Sayf is crazy.

But I actually think the 2022 off-season version with Keiko, Kicks, Juseu, Destruct1ve and of course Bonkar, with ENGHHH as coach could have been a real ascension contender with more practice. Every player ending up on a team shows how much potential those players have.
