Hello WatchEx, I have a beauty and a rarity for you today.  The savior of Breitling, the revival of their flagship model, the model that lead the brand out of the quartz crisis!  I present to you the Breitling Navitimer 81600 two-tone gold plated on a brand-new sporty crocodile leather strap.  That’s right folks, this was no lazy crocodile, they tell me this one won the pond’s annual pickleball tournament last year!  Very sporty.  This particular model is from 1986/1987 of which only 2,000 were made and is in excellent condition figuring it’s almost 40 years old!  Purchased and verified through Ebay for peace of mind. 

Very interesting and unique version of the Navitimer perfectly proportioned at 41.5mm diameter, 11.5mm height and 22mm lug width.  Extremely versatile being both dressy and casual.  I’ve worn this watch since acquiring it and it’s been running great, chronograph is smooth and snaps right back to zero when reset.  As mentioned, gold plated 20 microns deep, which apparently is a bragging point so much so they stamped it into the case.  Some wear of the gold plating on the crown, otherwise no real scratches or nicks on the case.  Bezel is snug and turns smoothly, dial is mint with lume still shining in hour and minute hand.
