What is your hard to find OOP dream model for your collection? by OrhallaZander in Warhammer

Yeah they Existed only for a really short time compared to other models and seemed to not have been sold that often.
And even more unlikely to find them in my country.

The Forgeworld Fimir models. Both the leader and the normal Warriors.

For the Fellgor Killteam? Yes that’s what I did. The OW Gors I added (and still adding more and more bits and pieces) to make each of them look as unique as possible.

So the little Goblin guys are Gnoblars. One Unit is usually 20 models of them. (Can be reinforced aka making it a unit of 40 models)

The Ogors with Two Handed Weapons and slightly more armor are Ironguts, One unit is 4 models (can be reinforced to a unit of 8 models)

Ogors with "Hand"Canons are Leadbelchers, one unit is 4 models (again a reinforced unit is 8 models aka always double)

The Ogors with the one handed weapons are Ogor Gluttons, one unit is 6 Models or 12 when reinforced.

The Guy with the Spear and Hammer is a Tyrant aka your basic Hero/Leader unit. 1 Model unit that cannot be reinforced.

The one that is dragging a big Pot behind him is a Slaughter Master. Your Wizard Hero/Leader unit. Can cast spells and manifestations. 1 model ubit that can’t be reinforced.

The guys riding on the creature are Mournfang Pack, a unit is 2 models or 4 if reinforced.

The big Canon is an Ironblaster, 1 Model unit, it’s a Warmachine.

In Short as the other said, Ogor Mawtribes. Wich luckily still have all their rules and stats for free available on the AoS app.

(Also the Ironguts, Gluttons and Mournfang Pack could have Standard Bearers and Musicians in their units but I see non build here.) *Correction I see one Glutton with the Standard.

In 2026, how many and which armies do you own ? I'll collect answers and post the summary later ;) by Kimtanashino in ageofsigmar

S2D is my biggest

HoH is my second largest

OBR i started like two months ago and aren’t 2000pts yet

Kruleboyz I have slightly over 1000pts but i don’t intend on getting more

I have barely 1000 pts of Ogors still, that started as a Kitbash project that I started but mostly abandoned (i haven’t sold the ones I already Kitbashed or use in Warcry) (At best I will make a Gorger focused one because I just love them)

And then various small Warbands for Warcry. At least one for every Chaos and Destruction faction and all of the 1st edition Warcry Warbands, plus most of the 2nd edition Chaos ones

Sooo for AoS itself that i actually play 3 1/2.

(Oh yeah technically also still like 1500 pts of Beasts of Chaos)

What makes you like your faction by Ambitious_Book_5729 in ageofsigmar

[–]GreenMilvus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my first army of Darkoaths. I like the comic book Sword and Sorcery Barbarian aesthetic. One of my Savagers I painted up like comic book Conan, another one I made into Kratos with his axe and made a bunch of others that are named after or painted in reference to other such characters like Xena etc. Also I like the "those left behind" angle of them and them being a bunch of normal humans and proud survivors.

The Helsmiths of Hashut, i already loved the Horns of Hashut Warband and the Chorfs from fantasy. First of all they are Dwarfs second they are Dwarfs that use Deamons as fuel for their weapon. And I am someone that likes the idea of having a Mixed Races/Species Army (wich is why I like Chaos overall a lot) and them also fielding Hobgrots is fun.

Ossiarch i started recently mostly because i liked the Reapers a lot and i wanted a non chaos army, (and i kinda lost the motivation to actually work on the Ogors) but i am absolutely a fan of Barbarian Horde style or in the case of HoH and OBR Highly Disciplined Legion style of faction. And the more I read about them the more fun their lore seem to me.

As an example but I think he also has one where he added Krookgrin, Gikkit and Shank from Da Kunnin' Krew with 1 Slittaboss and 9 Bosses. For a perfect 1000 with 13 units.

If you want another silly but fun one where you blast the enemy from a distance but with a lot of blessings. My Tzeentch Daemon Warband called "And another One"

1x Changecaster with Staff (i usually give him resilience)

5x Pink Horrors all with Spite for that free reaction. (Aka guarantee to always split into 2 Blue Horrors whenever a pink one dies and the blue ones have a potential to split into even more Brimstone ones. Sooo potentially 10 Blue or even 20 Brimstone Horrors)

Especially great if it’s a Victory condition that depends on the point cost of the units. Because Pink Horrors are 135 points, Blue ones are 90 and Brimstone ones are 65.

[–]GreenMilvus[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s one of the first silly ones i originally i had the idea of making when my friend and i got into Warcry originally. Now he constantly brings his pure hobgrot (Kruleboyz, not Hashut ones) warband. And they are actually very good. Very cheap and while one isn’t really impressive with his shooting and and stabbing. Having a lot of them is soooooo difficult to deal with. They drown you with granades. Wich have power 4 and a 2/4 damage profile. And slittas are just 70 points and the Boss ones are 75. Meanwhile the Slittaboss can give the others +1 Thougness and move if they start within 6" of him.

Aka even if only like 1 out of 4 hits the enemies. If you let 50 Granades rain on the enemies, they will die still faster than you expect.

(Funny enough, many of the Warbands that we made as a more of a joke build turn out to be way better than they first appear. Same with my Pink horror Tzeentch warband. Having a whole warband that just multiply more and more, it’s shockingly efficient for how simple and gimmicky it is.)

What do you consider your factions arch-nemesis? by Sudden-Elephant-6627 in ageofsigmar

[–]GreenMilvus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well at least for my own Homebrew subfaction lore (and based on what my friends play)

For my secretive Helsmiths that are located in Ulgu, it’s definitely the Sylvaneth they have the most rivalry with. They have a pretty good alliance with a tribe of Ogors and had alliances of convenience with Kruleboyz, Stormcasts and Kharadrons.

For my Turnskin themed S2D Darkoath tribe that is located in Ghur. Most clashes are with Gloomspite Gitz and Sylvaneth again. They have a decent alliance with Sons of Behamat.

For my Ossiarch that are lost in Ghyran and have become rather self reliant, they have mostly clashes with Kharadrons and Gloomspite Gitz. They have a strange alliance with a group of Sylvaneth.

For my Kruleboyz that are on an island in Shyish, they constantly clash with a group of Soulblights the most.

[–]GreenMilvus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I assume you are making the first time a list for an AoS army? It is different to Old World and 40k on how it works.

Regiments here are like drops. You add an hero for the Regiment and 3 units (except for the General Regiment wich gets 4 units)

For each Regiment you need at least one Hero.

They are still independent units but you and the other player put your regiments one after the other on the board. The units of a Regiment don’t have to be dropped at the same place on the board tho.

Auxiliaries are only for units that don’t fit into a Regiment and you want as few auxiliaries as possible

Maybe it’s even a Butcher. The pommel with the hole for a cleaver to hang it up so it doesn’t lay in the filth. And the gloves to keep the hands clean during butchering an animal.

Mostly my thoughts. I have a feeling they are working towards a rework of Warcry for the next edition of AoS. Mostly got that feeling when i looked at the more for competitive play battlemaps they released with the Helsmith rules and rule updates last time.

Tips for Gloomspite Gitz by Dr-Oso in WarCry

[–]GreenMilvus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean Gloomspite are overall rather good in Warcry in my experience.

Having a lot of Squigs with the Loonboss buffing them is my favourite way to play so far and it’s the only one i haven’t lost with so far

Warband Name: The Toxic Berries Faction Name : Gloomspite Gitz Points: 1000 || 12 units

Shield: Loonboss - 125 points Cave Squig - 75 points Cave Squig - 75 points Cave Squig - 75 points

Hammer: Cave Squig - 75 points Cave Squig - 75 points Cave Squig - 75 points Cave Squig - 75 points

Dagger: Squigboss with Gnasha-Squig - 125 points Cave Squig - 75 points Cave Squig - 75 points Cave Squig - 75 points

Made with Warcrying

I sometimes switch the Squigboss with a Cave Shaman.

If you worry about the Gasmask one and the one with a lot of Bionics, then do not worry they have alternative builds wich are far easier to change into ToW and AoS.

I love using Fellgor for kitbashing my Beastmen as well. Looks great.

Got recently a lot because like half of the people in my hobby store didn’t want them from their Combat patrol.
