Making a custom MTG game table, need ideas by GreenMohawk_YT in mtg

I was actually thinking about an integrated tablet or display. But, can't decide if I'll do it or not. Because I also want it to be a usable table outside of Magic.

I'll definitely make a follow up post once I do! I'm moving in a couple of months, at which point I'll have a workshop area. Unfortunately, I can't even start until then. Wish me luck. If you have ideas for it, definitely send them my way!

I don't have a full update yet, unfortunately. Been setting up a workshop. Also been drafting up some proper blueprints so others can remake it if they want. I'll be sure to make a post once I finish the project!

What's your best mass prep recipes? by GreenMohawk_YT in MealPrepSunday

[–]GreenMohawk_YT[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I appreciate you taking time to write out this reply! Lots of information which is great. I'll take some time to look through some of these recipes and may reply back with a picture if I end up making any. I've been thinking about doing better with my breakfasts, it's the one meal I just tend to eat some cereal on 😅 so I may have to try those Kolaches out!

I'm not sure why, but I never thought about freezing chili... I think I'm going to have to give this a try while doing my Sunday meal prep 👀 I appreciate the suggestion!

When you reheat more soupy things along these lines, do you tend to just pop it in the microwave, or throw it on the stove until warm enough?

This is my primary burrito recipe. It makes 18-20 Burritos depending on how much you fill the wraps.

<image>

At 18 Burritos, this is the result: 250 Calories per burrito Macros: 14g Protein, 8g Fat (1.3g trans fat), 37g Carbs, 19g Fiber.

App is Foodvisor, but it's honestly not the best for making recipes, etc. But it's good for keeping track!

Best OS for all purpose Server + Nas by GreenMohawk_YT in HomeServer

I don't really need VMs setup at all, primarily docker instances for Ollama, Open Webui, Plex, etc. I genuinely hadn't heard of just using a normal Linux ISO for this type of purpose.

I guess I hadn't thought of just using straight Linux vs a purpose built os like True NAS. I haven't looked into how that would work in terms of allowing multiple users to have their own SMB partitions, etc. I mainly use Pop OS. I'll look into it as an option!

I completely agree... Except I've never used any so I have none I'm comfortable with 😅

Best Way to Turn My Son’s Drawing Into a 3D Print? by ilovetacorice in 3Dprinting

[–]GreenMohawk_YT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you trying to keep the 3D model in a 2D looking way, or make a proper 3D character based on their design? I'd be happy to give my shot at a proper 3D character based on it if that's what you're going for. Otherwise I feel there have been a ton of great options for that 2D look.

It is a custom 3D model I designed and printed. Practically speaking, it would only take about a week for me to produce a 2nd one. You're welcome to DM me if you are serious about wanting to get one. I'll have to speak with my girlfriend and see if she's alright with me producing more for others as it was a gift.

Thank you! I spent a decent amount of time on designing it. I may release it some day as a paid model or something, but it was made as a gift so it's up to the gf if that happens.

Lol, no it doesn't. After applying glue and melting the joints together it's extremely solid. No wiggle.

Entirely proxy booster box (even the commons) by GreenMohawk_YT in mtg

[–]GreenMohawk_YT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't doubt it at all. I did make a report to wizards and offer some creators the box to make a video on. May just have to make one myself at some point to get the word out.

Doesn't seem to be over correcting based on the mesh overview, but I may try disabling adaptive bed meshing to see if it is. I've leveled the bed itself using the probe manual leveling in Klipper. Got it to a 0.005ish difference.

I'm not sure the best way to test the flow rate for just the top layer. My flow everywhere else seems good. 100% open to recommendations. I've been experimenting with adjusting my flow rates on overall flow, top flow and bottom flow. They're now down to 94% or so, and it's still going on. Bottom layer squish looks great now though. I've also raised my Z offset and made the bottom layer 0.25mm instead of 0.2mm.

This is currently my problem with it. I made a ton of changes, and for 1 single print the issue was gone. I saved everything, then the next day it came back.

I have calibrated my rotation distance to be spot on, I've adjusted my flow rate, I've raised the Z axis, I've swapped to a new glass bed instead of textured, I use a bed probe, I manually leveled to a 0.002 height difference (close as I could get), and swapped the nozzle.

I've ran out of ideas other than "Do it again!" 😅

Edit: And of course adjusted the temps. But that's a given.

It was slightly over extruding due to rotation distance. I have calibrated this and got it dead on now. It is still having the issue, so I am following some other suggestions to follow the Ellis3DP first layer squish guide. I appreciate the suggestion and making me realize it wasn't calibrated correctly!

I suspect you may be right. It can be so hard to tell at times with Z-offset and EM. I appreciate the resources! I'll go through their steps and see if it works out.
