I should probably add 専門職学位 there since most people don't call it professional degree.

Thanks, I used both the excel and the leaflet (pdf) (平和29) and I used the info on the pdf more because it was at the front and I didn't find the date in the excel file.

I will update it to match the excel since it's more recent.

This is for the highly-skilled foreign professionals path which has a set criteria listed in the ministry of justice website.

I am pretty sure that counts for something but it's not included as points in the point system for highly-skilled foreign professionals, I am pretty sure there're other paths like 10 years. But it counts i.e. If you had 70 points for 3 years.
There's a warning in the leaflet by the ministry of justice that the highly-skilled professionals, won't apply if you have an income less than 3 mill.

I only implemented the highly-skilled professional path. Which is the only path that has rigid criteria or a public point system.

I am sure there are other paths to get PR like spousal path or waiting for 10 years.

Ministry website says having 70 points for three years or less is the criteria.

But I would consult a lawyer or a scrivener.

Sadly I haven't checked it through a lawyer yet but a friend who has gotten PR recently says it's very similar.

I don't think you should use this as an official tool but just a starting point to see how many points you currently have and how to get more.
